The season-long refrain.
-
Cam is on a milk box missing
-
10 turnovers . . . but giving the ball to the other team is cool.
-
Clank Cam
-
Carter has had a rough season
-
Swish showing some moves!
-
LoL, Greene is 35% from the line for the year? Hope that was an error
-
Meh we'll be fine, only down 5
-
They better not have hurt Keyontae…
-
Gotta rebound better and hang onto the ball in the second half.
-
Slide into the dressing room with a smooth 11 . . . turnovers
-
Slide into the dressing room with a smooth 11 . . . turnovers
The too cool for schoolers love all 11
-
Slide into the dressing room with a smooth 11 . . . turnovers
The too cool for schoolers love all 11
11 of the coolest you'll ever see
-
Goodness we look like crap
-
How in the world do you let everything go in the first half then give a bailout like that there?

Oof
-
This is almost as bad as the ass whooping they gave us in Ft Worth. Playing our way to a #4 seed. This is embarrassing
-
Why is Greene in the game much less shooting 3
-
It's not embarrassing me. I mean we're losing but it's a competitive game so far.
-
Greene may have the worst hands since Manny Dies
-
Wtf is happening
-
we're not winning this one
-
That's a distinct possibility
-
It's not embarrassing me. I mean we're losing but it's a competitive game so far.
Imagine being the child of one of these people
-
We need stops to win and we're not getting them.
-
TCU with a healthy miles is really good
-
Meh we'll be fine, only down 11................
-
This is a game where the other team is just better (at least today)
-
Very dumb game so far…
-
JFC
-
Cats' fatal flaw this year is lack of depth; have to play Carter / Greene significant minutes . . .
-
Who the eff is Greene playing for? Jesus he is terrible tonight
-
Cats fatal flaw this year is lack of depth; have to play Carter / Greene significant minutes . . .
Flaw has been turnovers
-
At least we will be well rested for later next week
-
Play some defense,
-
TCU will cut the nets on Saturday
-
lol
-
TCU will cut the nets on Saturday
Cf3 bud, lmao
-
Cam scoring a bucket. Mark the date and time. Then totally reverts back to himself on defense
-

Settle for mediocrity... we are K-State.....
-
Not being embarrassed doesn't mean settling for mediocrity.
-
:flush:
-
50% from 3 tonight for the frogs, 29% on the year…
-
50% from 3 tonight for the frogs, 29% on the year…
We are defending very poorly.
-
They've certainly found a hole.
-
I'm glad I didn't go back to KC to see this in person.
-
Defense is bad
-
Be interesting to know how many points tcu scored off turnovers....
-
Schooled.
-
Guys, this is the team we’ve been watching for at least a month
-
No it's not.
-
Checking in with 19 TOs, which is pretty much consistent with the last month. But the worst 3 point shooting team in the league going 11 for 22 is frankly bad luck/timing.
-
Whatever, looking forward to the tourney now. This was already WAY better than I ever would have thought to start the season.
-
It'll be
39 40 turnovers the last two games, barring no more tonight.
This team is a turnover machine, that's just who they are.
Terrible perimeter D, the "bigs" did nothing should have been set up to do more, so it was an ass kicking.
Time to go home and rest up.
-
No it's not.
I mean… yeah it is
-
That was gross and I'm sad. :......(
-
No it's not.
I mean… yeah it is
Prior to tonight they went 5-3 in the last month. So if you're talking about turnovers, you have a small point, if you're talking wins and losses, you don't really have one.
-
Every KSU game I actually sit down and watch has just an insane amount of turnovers and then Im like how did we win this many Big 12 games?
-
TCU will cut the nets on Saturday
Cf3 bud, lmao
Anything is possibly
-
TCU will cut the nets on Saturday

Anything is possibly
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLYYYYYY
-
The recipe is go out and muscle up against K-State and hack the crap out of everybody and beg the refs to not call fouls.
rough ridin' Jamie Dixon man, they'll go out and lose by 20 tomorrow, just watch.
-

We're high risk, high reward. When it flows we can beat anyone, when it doesn't we don't.

This is a big reason I'm excited about the tourney. We get hot and we can make a run at something.
-
Also we are probs gonna be a 3 seed and that is pretty cool, guys.

I agree with this, which I don’t mind come tourney time, but would have been A LOT nicer to go in with a bit more momentum.
-
Our three starting guards went 2/16 from behind the arc and had a .8 assist to turnover ratio. That will get ya smoked.
-
I don't understand this high risk high reward... the turnovers are sloppy passes, sloppy ball handling and not being able to hang onto the ball and put it in under the hoop... it's not like we have to be successful with those high risk passes to win a game... I don;t understand...

Maybe if you had the right amount of spaces between words, the right amount of periods for pauses, and an apostrophe instead of a semi colon I could properly respond to this.

Our guards and they way they handle the basketball is just jet fuel for a hack and grab team like TCU. That's why they combined for 12 turnovers. Any opposing team that doesn't come out in the NCAA tourney and force the refs to the blow the whistle while defending our guards is poorly coached and dumb.

That's something I hope improves next year even with young guards. Hopefully, it's not going to be a feature of Tang's teams. Johnson had 5 TOs too, but I'm not sure how clear his head was in the 2nd half.
-
i liked the parts where sills was packing everybody left and right.

No need for name calling. I didn't know. Had I known I wouldn't have said anything, I apologize. I have accepted I have a disability with all of my health issues so I empathize a lot more than I used to. My bad.

Zack, you ask legit questions. It's a very feast - famine team, hopefully the best meats and cheeses version shows up for the NCAA tourney

There was no need for your snark response regardless of whether a person has a disability or not... maybe I was just an idiot that was interested finding out others thoughts on a subject but not so good at spelling and sentence structure....if someone is making a good faith effort to communicate I would never play the grammer police to feel better about myself or feel superior... I guess that's why people do that?

Do you know where you are on the internet? People give others crap all the time here. So sorry if you can't handle it, don't post here, regardless of your stance on knowing/not knowing if someone has a disability or not. My context was a later night post, grammar errors, after a tough loss. So what's the obvious context answer here? That you had a few too many and mistyped because you were pakd. There was nothing more to it than that. Sorry you took it as more than that, but know where you are posting stuff.

What behavior? Being sarcastic on the internet? What else do you want, a handwritten letter saying I’m sorry?

They get a lot of turnovers trying to start fast breaks with difficult passes - layup or a dunk if they connect, turnover if they don't. I think the other high risk high reward issue is the fact that Keyontae still can't handle a double but giving him the ball at the wing is arguably our best way to score in half court.
I would argue the team needs a lot of transition points and Keyontae iso's to be successful in the tournament, so we'll just see how it goes and enjoy the company friends along the way.
-
I stopped watching roughly 4 minutes into the second half when we continued to play pinball with the ball. As many said, it's fairly feast/famine with this team, and when they are out of sync it's usually a train wreck.
That being said Desi had a helluva game, and I hope they take the next week to practice taking care of the ball a ton and meld together as a group, it's 6 wins you gotta do.
I just hope we make it to the second weekend.
-
All I really care about is consistently getting to the NCAA’s. It’s a crap shoot tournament and being there consistently means you will have a great run more often.

We also seem to be good for a few turnovers every game on lazy passes that offer no reward.

regular season confy titles are good indicators of where you are in addition to the safe NCAA bids

for sure, I was specifically addressing the "high-risk, high-reward" question. Obviously you want to minimize those lazy TO's but I don't want to become much less aggressive in transition or cut back Keyontae's touches too much.
-
the cats did their normal bad stuff (turn the ball over, allow the other team to O-board like JYC's), but also did some uncharacteristically bad stuff (shoot terribly from 3 and not guard the 3).
still a very fun team, but it's hard to watch 20 TO's and the other team make 11 3's

Felt like corner 3's were wide open all night for them and that they nailed every one.

Obannon was nailing 30 footers with a hand in his face with his broke ass shot all night.
-
Using my own rough math, we averaged 14 turnovers a game for the entire season. 13.5 turnovers in the non-con per game, and 17 turnovers per game in the 9 games we lost. So honestly, turnovers aren't even the biggest issue on wins and losses IMO, they just turn it over a lot regardless.

hey guys thanks for this auto-generated gems thread

This may be better for the controversial thread, but I'm a teeny bit glad they lost. I'm very sleepy from being at the game last night and I would prob fall asleep during tonights game if they were playing.
