That was a good play by our defense, but an even better play by Bama. Inches from a sack/knockdown, Young steps up, hits Gibbs, Moore nearly blows it up, but a big block by 81, and Gibbs is so dangerous, just like deuce.

They're obviously stacked with huge, NFL-tier players, Young has played totally lights out since their first 2 drives, and Howard is really struggling. Their ability to get into the backfield nearly every time they blitz is just debilitating. What a sad showing...ugh. It wouldn't have been so disappointing without that encouraging start.

Still a pretty decent season, learn and move on. This maybe the next cutaway of a post game locker room as we take the next step forward after a bad loss

They called illegal touching on Cade I believe (if not Cade then whoever the wide out was that caught the ball) bc they said he was covered up on the LoS. And then they tacked on the loss of down but all I can find is loss of down is only in NFL

I liked the aggressive play until that onside kick…..This is exactly what I thought. It was the most telegraphed play OAT, reminded me of that fake punt Snyder 2.0 ran against Oklahoma State from like the OSU 40 yard line. Ultimately the onside kick didn't matter.
We wouldn't have won if he was on but Will picked a real bad day to get the yips and the receivers to revert to their 2020 form, even Sinnott sucked.
Martinez should have gotten more snaps, particularly in the second half.

I also think Brent’s could have should have picked off their 3rd or 4th td. Just seemed to lose the ball. Didn’t even make a play on it even though he seemed to read the route correctly.
