Down by two at half. Sills with epic putback dunk already.
-
They are lights out hitting open shots that our defense has obliged them to take

Alford outcoached Tang in the first half, but I bet Jerome gets his ass in the second.
-
Need to get Tomlin going and quit fouling so much.
-
Get with the game, Wyatt.
-
Keyontae is a rough ridin' stud.

Keyontae is a rough ridin' stud.
Yea not sure we have seen this kind of a player since Beasley.
-
this gym is too much, I can't believe this counts as a real game
-
Would have been a great game to watch.
-
I would be irate were I a cats hoop fan.
-
can you play some jock jams Greg.
-
this gym is too much, I can't believe this counts as a real game
I love it, I need to make it to one of these janky Caribbean tourneys done time.
Fwiw The Maui Classic gym is pretty similar
-
Is there fog in there?
-
Mad props to greg for putting the game up then single handily fighting off the FBI who tried to cut his feed in the 2nd half.

Super smooth and super smart.

We are their super bowl, happy for those little guys!
-
Blew a pretty good lead there.

Imagine a lot of conference games will look like this

OT baby!
-
Nowell has been great, but Johnson absolutely has to get a touch in crunch time possessions
-
Baker out, ball game.
-
Remember when HugeCat said Nowell should be benched?

Nevada lacks depth but they have some really good starting talent.
-
Loving it.
-
Great coaching move by tang to bring nowell back in to run out the clock.
-
I'm think LSU won't know what hits them.
-
Nowell had a Pullenesque second half and OT tonight.
-
Baker out, ball game.
that stiff operating in the lane like he was (sober) Vin Baker is why Colbert should not redshirt
-
Nowell had a Pullenesque second half and OT tonight.
His drive to tie the game reminded me of the The Flush-Kentucky game with the initial block and then come back and get the basket
-

I was thinking the same thing. Those drives and using body position to get off a random layup then drilling some 3 pointers definitely gave off some pullen vibes.
-
Enjoyed the game tonight go cats
-
Mad props to greg for putting the game up then single handily fighting off the FBI who tried to cut his feed in the 2nd half.
In Greg's defense, the Caymans must have had an internet failure because the dumbasses like me who paid $30 on Flo Sports to watch these games also lost the feed...
-
Baker out, ball game.

Him redshirting is a pretty good indication he would have have gotten cooked as bad as N'Guessan and Bay Bay did.
Either way, post defense has got to be better. That no middles defense turned into nothing but middles.

Not saying there won't be problems but they won't play many folks like that oaf

It's been a very long time since the Big 12 had a dominant scoring low post center, Embiid I think. Still we didn't handle the high screen and roll very well at all.
-
Pick and roll issues seem way easier to address than big 7 footers with a decent hook shot.
But hey, there will be ups and downs! The team is fun!
-
Remember when HugeCat said Nowell should be benched?
Link?

Based on the HugeCat smell test, this is who I would like to see starting
#1 Desi Sills 6’2” guard
#2 Keyontae Johnson, 6’6” wing
#3 Nae’Qwan Tomlin 6’8” wing
#4 David N’Guessan, 6’9? wing
#5 Jerrel Colbert 6’10” post
In my IMHO, Those are the five most talented guys we have.
-
lol. Well F me. I guess it’s true when they say the Internet is forever. In Da Huge One’s defense, Huge was temporarily caught up in the Desi Sills irrational exuberance fever. Quis, if you’re reading this, please set accept Da Huge One’s deepest apologies. I will never doubt you again.#HeartOverHeight.
-
I think it was me with the flaming hot take after the exhibition. Nowell has engaged god mode since

#2-3 Tykei Greene 6’4” wing
#3-4 Dorian Finister 6’5” wing

It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if Ismael Massoud never saw the floor.
Pretty damn close, three out of five ain’t bad, according to my guy, meatloaf.
It also appears that Huge was pretty hard on Ish. I would also like to apologize to Ish, he definitely has a role on this team. The dude looks like a knock down come off the bench three point shooter.

i agree Baker is not the typical Big 12 big, Lampkin at TCU is the only real post player i can think of but we will see a lot of length and size in the paint tonight as LSU has loaded up on bigs in the portal. It seems unwise to redshirt anyone that can help you win a game or two in this era of player movement.
-
how many times is KSU going to kick LSU's ass in like one calendar year?? :Wha:
-
i actually didn't watch the game. OT? loool

Ain’t right to let nic catch a stray all by himself. Quis has definitely cemented himself as superior to Desi. Glad we are still finding ways to get him 25+ minutes a game tho.

Feeling pretty good about my love for Desi Sills. Honestly, I wasn’t that far off with my starting five. Drop off Jarrell Colbert, and slide Marqkuis up into the starting lineup and I’m good. Props to huge for early recognition of David N’guessan’s skills.

I called N'Guessan my guy after the first half of the first game

Hes much better than I anticipated. Has a quick first step for a guy his size.
