Expectations are dangerous, so let's make some!
I think I'd like to see us finish as the "best team in the bottom half of the league." I don't think that's too much to ask, is it?
-
7th and squeak into the NCAA tournament
-
I wanna dance on the bubble all year
-
I want to see a team that is fun to watch and shows a bunch of promise.
-
I expect a tournament appearance.
-
9th, but fun to watch

I want a team that will chew your face off. And lots of lob and put back dunks.

I don't really make predictions, but looking at practice clips and ones from the scrimmage, people will like the style of play, a lot more than they did the last decade. Could you imagine oscar and his staff encouraging guards to throw lobs within the half court offense?

I like the sound of this.

I think we be really fun, and good enough to keep the fans interested.
-
I think we finish fourth. I’m an optimist, sue me
-
8th or 9th in the conference is probably the expectation. 7th, bubble, would be great. 10th I would be disappointed.

I wish we had that 2006-07 nortard cupcake B12 schedule. Experiencing another Huggs-type season would be really great.

i say 7th and the bubble is a reasonable ceiling for this team.
it is unrealistic to think Tang can get near the top of tier of Baylor, KU and UT (and maybe TT) but can we get to the next tier? that will mean getting past ISU, OU and WVU which seems possible if Keyontae plays at a level similar to his soph year at FL.
-
We will surprise the Big 12 and the country. Should be a fun year.
-
I'm pretty happy with not last in the league and being competitive in most games along with stealing a game or two from the top of the league. I think we'll be mentioned as a bubble team but not a terribly realistic one.
Then in 23-24 we're top half of the league.
-
It doesn't mean jack crap, but the coaches have the players at every damn K-State sporting event and they just don't sit in the corner either, they are active with fans. Last night they were at the volleyball game taking pics and signing autographs.
Today they were tailgating at tables set up outside of they practice facility. We've run into Marquis three different times this year and he now recognizes my son.
I don't remember who wondered about Finister's adorableness, wetwillie? but he's much better looking in person, he'll definitely be an adorabcat before he's gone.
-
Cat sports is really great right now. It's such a total love fest.
-
-Top 6 in the league
-9 seed
-First-round win
-
I'm hoping for 8th or better, and in general a fun team to watch. I think as others said 7th/bubble team is probably the ceiling but I'd love to be proven wrong
I'm hoping to be above .500, and maybe win 17 games, but that is going to be really tough
-
No idea. Just going to enjoy it regardless.
-
is tuesday’s game on espn +
-
Yes
-
I put $5 on the Cats to win the Big 12. If they pull it off it pays $500. You never know man.
-
I just want to see a well-coached, hustling team that rebounds aggressively and has offensive flow. Hope to see two of the transfers not named Johnson, who will be as good as his health, step up like Smith last year.
