The lyrics are told from the perspective of a blue-collar type dude who has to work really hard for everything in his life. He is envious of the rock stars on MTV who seemingly get to live the good life for doing very little actual work. "That's the way you do it ..." he says wistfully.

From there, you could extrapolate it to a broader commentary on interclass conflict, aka class warfare. At the same time, it is a mildly damning statement on our media habits, although that's a little ironic coming from Dire Straits.

That will be $75, please. I accept Venmo and Paypal, if that's more convenient for you.

Brothers in arms is one of my dad's favorite albums, the radio cut of money for nothing doesn't do the song justice

well luckily for you, I stared at it for a while today because I see it and my brain says “One” but that makes no sense so then for the first time ever, i saw “On 3” and immediately thought it sounded familiar and the breaking the huddle lightbulb went off

is this the first time someone has answered their own dumb question?  we’ll see, let’s try and confirm that it is actually on 3 and not one, ok?

How many ways do you think you can misspell a three-letter word?

Well, factoring in that we can just change the orientation of letters, I would need mocat to do that math.

What would happen if I brewed a pot of coffee then instead of drinking I poured it into the reservoir, put fresh grounds in the basket and ran it again

I think mormans call that "soaking" and is a total caffeine loophole.

Aegon Targaryen calls it "getting it wet."
