do you ever feel ways about stuff and think "man i wish there was a word for that thing!" but there isn't? Well this thread is for you! I'll start:
tfw you've had the fridge door open for a long time and you know the chime is about to go off but you close the door just before the chime goes off and its this weird mix of "i just got away with a crime" but also "see i'm a trusty boy i closed the door before it chimed i deserve a treat"
tfw you suffer a minor injury like cutting your finger and in your rational brain you know that you will be fine but in the immediate aftermath you yearn for your life 5 minutes ago when you could easily bend your finger without it hurting like hell and you had full use of your hands but your life will never be the same (except it will in like a day or 2)
before any of you say it, yes i'm aware of the dictionary of obscure sorrows and its a very neat webbedsite and i wish those were actual words

This should be a thread for words that we make up for things that there isn't a word for! Make up your own word for it! Like the fridge thing. Call it food Alcatraz!

Not sure about German, but in English the word for the first one is "relief" and the word for the second one is "regret".
