Congrats to our KU brothers. This game is proof that if you work hard, put in the hours, cheat your ass off and face an 8 seed in the finals, good things will happen. A real inspiration to us all as well as a life lesson that applies on and off the court.

Do agree that K-State should just say eff the rules, work diligently behind the scenes directly with boosters to put together massive NIL deals to draw recruits, and then deny-deny-deny.
No one one is going to care about anything that's vacated. Just cheat as much as possble. Besides, unlike what Self and Townsend did, there's much more plausible deniability today with NIL.

Great point clams. Perhaps saying his performance in the tournament (especially the final four) was really impressive. It’s not like squawk nation wasn’t ready to back that bus over him as late as two months ago.

I think so. Jay Wright has an argument, and maybe Izzo (they’re salty next year). A strong argument can be made that Roy and Self have been the best in the biz since they took over at UNC and KU respectfully. With Roy gone, it’s Self and Wright 1a and 1b.

Just shooting from the hip here, but it seems like some of his deepest tourney runs have come with players that developed for several years in the program vs one-and-done recruits. Doesn't seem like the one-and-dones have been the key pieces on his top teams.

Mostly seemed like a family event with not that big of student presence. Maybe they had enough after celebrating at the crappy stadium. And while Mass Street was fully lined, nobody had trouble finding a curb-side spot to watch the parade.
