52% of americans say they have, whether having tested positive or just “knowing” they had it sans test.

Five negative tests, one antibody test in April 2020 with no presence of COVID.
-
i really thought i had a good chance of staying clean for another year.
-
No, I have not.

I have dirty blood now :frown:
-
Tested negative twice when I thought I might, but nope.
-
Never. My genes aren’t the best but they seem to want nothing to do with COVID.
-
every test has come back negative but i'm pretty sure i had it when omicron was trending
-
As far as I know I haven't had it.
-
This was the question in the Monmouth poll:
At any time during the pandemic, did you ever have Covid or think you had Covid? [If YES: Was your Covid status confirmed with a test, were you given the diagnosis by a medical professional without a test, or did you just know you had Covid?]
Yes, confirmed with a test
Yes, given the diagnosis without a test
Yes, just knew had Covid
No, have not had Covid
(VOL) Don’t know
-
I did, but after getting the vaccine twice seems like I haven’t.
-
I got Omi and it was pud.
-
i have not but mrs mocat had delta (probably?) in late september
-
I think I did but didn't get tested! Likely early omicron!
-
does positive anti mean "confirmed with a test"?
-
does positive anti mean "confirmed with a test"?
I think that would be "given the diagnosis without a test," the test being a test for if you have covid while taking the test, but either way you're a "yep" for the purpose of seeing if gE matches america.
-
I had OG covid
-
omicron
-
So I had it, whipped it's ass/did a standing 69 on it without a test.

Clean.
Did not skip one day of work in the office. Only wore masks when required. Got vaxxed as soon as I could.
Feel like I'm living on borrowed time, but so far so good.
-
got it in early December, guessing Delta. full loss of taste and smell for five days, was very bizarre.
-
OG in December 2020 along with the rest of the fam. Wife gets tested once a week and been free and clear since even working with Covid Px.
-
I hear people say omicron was pud but I had covid at the height of omicron and mine sucked ass. WAs in my lungs and I could breath without the sensation of actually getting oxygen relief. Like I wasn't wheezing, just when I took a breath it felt like i was only getting half a breath which was a weird sensation.
Also had a cough that kept me up at night so I didn't sleep well, but it lasted about 5 days or so.
Maybe I had Delta?
-
Haven't had it.
-
So far our well-rounded bbs of pubs and dems is lining right up with the overall results of the survey of the whole world of america.

Yeah I feel like there’s a genetic component but super immune is not a way I’d ever describe myself.

I must be high T-cell.

Tested positive for Covid today. Woke up with a sore throat and splitting headache. I felt progressively worse as the morning went along. I took a home test about noon and it came back positive.

I'm on day 3 of feeling like crap. I thought this omicron thing was supposed be easy breezy.

Bad genes?

In my omicron experience as one of the resident Omicronheads, day 1 was the worst, day 2 was a little better, day 3 was better still, and by day 4 is was just a minor annoyance. Although I did have a persistent cough for like a month. Mostly right after getting out of bed.
-
Other than a cough, I feel pretty great today.
-
Still haven't had it.
-
Pretty sure I had it around the 4th of July 2020. I played one of the best golf rounds of my life and smoked a cigar afterwards, the next couple of days I started getting a wicked cough and figured it was because I don't typically smoke cigars. Then I got started getting chills/fever/weak and my old roommate casually mentioned that the girl he had been hooking up with tested positive for covid.
Never got tested and also didn't lose any senses but I'm just going to assume it was OG covid.
I got sick about 2 weeks ago for the first time since then and used one of the home tests the GOVERNMENT sent out for free, negative.
-
Still haven't had it.
Damnit. Very mild symptoms tho.
-
Haven't had it that I know of. Multiple known exposures. 2 negative tests. Moderna chipped and boosted.
-
:flush:
the last 24 hours have been a complete horror show
-
I wonder if I'll be the last gE standing.
-
I've still never had it. Considering lying to the pharmacy about previously having an organ transplant to get a third booster, but I also keep thinking that someone might put something out that offers better protection against the variants later in the year.
-
I haven't had it and don't intend to get it. Had 3 Pfister shots and they are sending me reminders to get another. :)
-
first symptom yesterday afternoon was excruciating muscle pain, my lower back felt like I was kicked by a clydesdale. Then came the dizziness and fever. Then the worst headache I've ever had. When I was finally able to get to sleep at 5:30, I was woken 3.5 hours later to an absolute faucet of a nose. In 5 hours I have finished an entire box of tissues and 6 rags.

Hang in there, my dude. In my own inconsequential and anecdotal experience, it gets better every day.
-
Thanks, my miniature, handsome friend. I couldn't imagine doing this unvaccinated.
-
Feel better, MIR.
-
thanks
-
That sucks MIR. Hope you recover quickly.
I still haven't had it. Last July my wife had symptoms for four days before testing positive and during those four days we did everything as normal, shared a bed, etc. I thought if I was going to get it it would have been then. Also I haven't gotten a booster yet. I kind of forgot out it.

That's wild. Lucky you! I will be alone in a bedroom for 4 more days :'bye cruel world:

Check out the boner alert thread! :fatty:

I doubt MIR is going to be sexed up when he feels like crap. Whacky, maybe you can do that, but most of us aren't pervs.

Feelin' any better, boss?

Everyday I eliminate a symptom and get a hellish version of another symptom in return. Today it's literally hundreds of covid coughs
-
Did you look into that Pfizer therapeutic pill or monoclonal antibodies?
-
Negative again despite many haters and losers trying to infect me.

My friend got covid like 3 times and he had really bad vertigo this last time around. It was awful. Hope you get better soon buddy!
-

I thought about asking my doctor for the pill but I thought I would get over it in a day or two. Today is much better, I have a headache and muscle aches again but I think that's due to dehydration and laying in bed for three days.

i got it again, still a pain but today felt better and thank goodness the taste/smell loss didn't last as long as first time i had it
Day 1: fever
Day 2: fever, congestion ramped up
Day 3: fever seemed to be gone, congestion bad, transitioning into painful mucus cough. voice sounds terrible.
Day 4 (tested positive): fever is back! taste/smell vanish throughout the day, painful mucus cough still occurring. voice sounds terrible.
Day 5 (today): fever gone! taste/smell already coming back! still plenty of mucus but less painful. voice improving but still bad.
