Title: LSU or Baylor
Post by: Trim on December 05, 2021, 03:15:23 PM
Which athletics program is worse when it comes to sexual misconduct, or are they fairly equivalent?

A simple google search of "LSU Scandal" will make you sick & sad.

Hmmm, I thought maybe our long conference experience with baylor would have us better prepared for dealing with a team like LSU.  Maybe not.

However, we also whipped the squawks' asses both when they had the lsu coach and after they had to fire that lsu coach for his lsu things.  So that's good.

I prefer to play only both academic and ethical peers. Obviously this leaves out those two schools on both metrics. I'd prefer to turn down the bowl game tbh than to soil our name with LSU.

Baylor didn't hire someone who did this after their scandal so I'd say that LSU wins this battle

Confronted with questions about Seeberg’s death and his team’s possible role in causing it, Kelly joked that he couldn’t believe the Chicago Tribune still employed so many reporters.

The next year, according to reporting from the National Catholic Reporter, a Notre Dame student opted not to tell police about being raped by a Fighting Irish football player because she remembered the way Seeberg coming forward elicited only hostility and indifference.

I guess I'll be in the minority and say that the school that was literally running a known rape program, had coaches with complete knowledge of it, had basketball players murdering each other, had the local PD running interference, used the Texas legislature to pressure entrance into the Big XII, and who hired Ken Starr to be university president, is worse than LSU.

Could Louisiana be inherent!y more devious than Texas, making the Baylor deal stand out that much more?  I mean, be honest here, don't most people just assume Louisiana is a hick law state with statutes based on a presumption of guilt and parish sheriffs running fiefdoms?

Louisiana is consistently ranked the most corrupt state in the country.
