The non NY6 bowls don't pick in finishing order anymore. If we don't get the cheez it bowl it will be because Jamie Pollard made another guarantee about ticket buys

I'd forgotten about that Alamo Bowl. We were ranked 11! Down 31-6 at halftime! Cut it to 34-28 with five minutes left!
Then gave up a long ass run on 2nd and 13 with two minutes left!
Then scored in like 45 seconds!
Then lost the onside but it was close.

I had forgotten we beat UCLA in ‘10. Also us getting LSU would absolutely be the best outcome for us no matter which Bowl it is, we’ve seen enough of arky and miss st the last few years, auburn would be okay I guess but LSU would be more interesting imho. But LSU has such a huge footprint in east Texas, it would be a home game for them

As 247Sports’ Shea Dixon notes, the only remaining scholarship quarterback on the Tigers’ roster right now is Garrett Nussmeier, with Myles Brennan in November announcing his own plans to enter the portal. We should treat it as a JV game, and play every single graduating senior, freshman and walk-on, and basically just sit all returning starters for next year. I'd put the returning starters in street clothes. Deuce should be in rough ridin' flip flops for that game.

I'm sure the powers that be could probably pull the ol' switcharoo and get the rajun cajuns into the texas bowl and send lousiana state to R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl to play Marshall? Would probably be a better fit for them, honestly.

Texas A&M’s shutdown creates an opening and Rutgers’ APR should put it into the game. While a decision is not final, the most likely outcome is Rutgers will replace the Aggies and face the Demon Deacons, ending the second-longest bowl drought among Power Five programs dating back to 2014. Only Kansas (2008) has gone longer without a bowl bid.
