For the nominee to be anyone else, Trump would have to be like, "here, please take the world's biggest spotlight off of me and have it all to yourself." This is not something I have the capacity to image could happen.

The only way it's Desantis is if Trump finally drops dead of a fast food induced heart attack. And even then someone will try to keep Trump's campaign going in the form of a hologram or maybe even that gold statue. So if Desantis gets past hologram Trump or statue Trump then yes.

Unless a Trump child is running, I don't see Trump strongly endorsing another Republican. Even if he publicly endorses them at some point, he's still going to take shots at them somewhat regularly.

Unless Trump dies or there is some huge shift in the national political landscape, the nomination is his if he wants it. No Republican who appears to be opposing Trump in any way, shape or form has a chance to get the nomination. If Trump doesn't run, the primary will be a contest to prove who who is the most slavishly devoted to Trump.

We are done with COVID shutdowns, the rest of the world will follow suit, production will increase, and the free market will correct the supply chain issues like it always does.

No, just that he's probably going to be running against Donald Trump, and most of the things dragging his approval rating down today won't really still be on the public radar in 2024. Donald will probably do more to lose votes during his campaign than Joe will.

Not that we'll find out but I completely disagree with this. Also I don't think that Trump will be the Republican nominee, if so he'll lose. Biden's win was never about Biden, it was about trump and that hasn't changed. Trump won't be able to garner the same enthusiasm he had in 2020 and frankly the number of trump voters who have died of COVID isn't insignificant.

Like I said above, she won't. A lot of local Dem leaders think she will get rolled if she gets the Dem nod for President. She was great to round out the Biden votes. Unfortunately I still don't think certain members of society are ready to vote for a woman President (sadly).

I think Pompeo's being smart. Trump could end up not running for some reason. But even if Pompeo bows out after Trump announces or actually loses to Trump in a primary, he's boosting his recognizability as a candidate.
I wonder if any states will decide to forgo a primary and just award their delegates to Trump.

Register as a republican in your primary, probably something most Ds should strongly consider given you all won't have a primary anyway.
