ITT we post things and ask our friends who we know are conflicted to pick a side. I would appreciate many of these being directed toward me but that’s not up to me to decide.
DAX! PICK A SIDE!

I pick China/Alibaba stock.

I know most of #blueanonGe/CoronaBroGe doesn't really pay that close attention unless it's cause for a 1000 pages worth of meltdowns.
But President Xi and company have made it very clear over the last few weeks that they want a more Mao like China. Less 'sissified' Western ideals/entertainment, more 'wholesome' entertainment and literature that uplifts the party and it's goals. Also, various other crackdowns on Western things and Western ideals in the last few months. One must keep in mind that China's policy of non-interference does not extend to Taiwan, and thus I believe the party's moves are to gird up the loins, harden the population in preparation for a move on Taiwan and the obvious fall out across the globe that ensue. JMO
I suppose I side with Soros on this, but he's not going to get more than lip service out of ChiCom Joe Biden.

YES!
-
I don't know what that means.
But I'm sure Captain Cryptic Steve Dave Faux Centrist won't say.
-
I was just saying YES! as a thank you for your picking a side. Nothing cryptic about it at all.

Lol

Steve Dave do you think we should follow the advice of blood thirsty war pig Graham and go back to Afghanistan?

Helping our resident old man find the correct thread
I’ll need a ruling from resident Gott’s superfan SteveDave regarding a Pfizer board member being on the airwaves pushing for usage of Pfizer manufactured product.
While being presented as a public health official, albeit not in that role at this time.

I'm very much in favor of it! But that was easy because I love both Gottlieb AND capitalism!
-
also he doesn't present himself at all as a public health official. he's on every weekday morning dax. you should tune in. he's definitely no lib and doesn't shill pfizer anymore than he shills any other vaccine or therapy. I think you'd like him. Also you'd LOVE Joe Kernen.
-
I do like him.

I do like him.

For those who don’t realize, a board member publicly promoting a drug their company makes is a HUGE vote of confidence. Like that’s really putting your balls out there in the event any of the claims you’re making about the product can be proven false. So whatever he’s shilling I’d be doubly inclined to believe it.

True. And I understand Pfizer is advised by some extremely capable counsel, so Pfizer would not have allowed this to occur unless they had obtained an appropriate level of comfort.
-
dax I would like you to watch squawk box every morning for gottlieb. but the REAL reason I want this is for your sorkin (bad) v. kernen (good) rage thread. also for rick santelli takes, who I know you would love. Also I believe you and I would share mutual respect for becky quick.

Having met more than a few of these people this is totally true. Pfizer spares no expense on who gives them counsel.

I was speaking specifically of #blueanonGe
BTW, your guy and his former boss were owned by Big Pharma if we're going down that road.
-
Dax, do you think gen milley should be executed?
-
He at minimum violated the Hatch Act.
But #blueanonGe has always fully supported their selected favorites engaging in back channel communications with our geo-strategic enemies.
Even when it it (repeatedly) undermined our national policy and initiatives.
-
Hatch Act Violation?
odd time to care about such things
-
Dax, what method of execution do you favor for gen milley?
-
Dax,
If mentally incapacitated iPOTUS Biden orders a nuke on China, how would you feel about the chair of the jcs letting China know that no one is taking mentally incapacitated iPOTUS Biden seriously?
PICK A SIDE!
-
:impatient:
-
StarSeed.7BOT appears to have run an auto routine last night.
So I suppose we're just to presume that a known mentally incapacitated President like Biden (for example) announced publicly that he's going to nuke China?
I guess that is a possible scenario considering that they do actually let Biden talk in public, but they usually cut his mic before he goes off script.
Otherwise how would China even know? If known MIPOTUS Biden orders such a thing it's probably not even getting out of the room, probably not even past the pillow they're about to smother him with.
It's not like they have to start moving a bunch of people around to launch an ICBM/SLBM first strike.
No need to let China know a thing IMO.
-
Bloodthirsty warpig DAX picks the nuke, yikes
-
Dax makes a good point about Biden probably not advertising on Twitter and in delirious rants his intent to nuke China.
-
SS7BOT thinks I choose the nukes
The scary part is MIPOTUS Biden is probably going to lean hard into whatever his notecards say. So who knows what Rice is putting on those things.

AUKUS Trilateral Engagement - Positive or Negative?
-
I haven't read anything about this thread but I would probably go with potato salad. That's what I usually bring as a side to cookouts.
-
A former president who worship as a god made way for a life saving vaccine against a virus killing 4M+ around the world but you have to take the vaccine to go to work and normal functioning society.
PICK A SIDE!!!!!

Right ad, wrong candidate? This is the best political ad I've ever seen, by far.

The Lumbee Tribe used to be a customer of mine and is bathroom bill rage still a thing?
I mean all that fake rage got that lunatic Roy Cooper elected. After that it went away as planned.

AUKUS Trilateral Engagement - Positive or Negative?
Dax can i get a ruling here?
-
Lick, when hasn't the U.S. had expansive military arrangements with Australia?

Also don't ask your guy for the deets, he apparently doesn't know. According to #blueanon respondents, ol' Joe can only handle a very select group of items.

That is not an answer. (But your concern for the feelings of the French is noble)
Second Question:
Which arraingment provides a stronger geo-political check to Chinese agression in the South Pacific?
AUKUS Trilateral or French Diesel?

Any modern weapons systems deployed in the South Pacific provide an effective deterrent.
It's just a shame our incapacitated CIC was wholly unaware this was going on.
An even better deterrent to the Chinese would be selling Taiwan even more MLRS smart launchers, sea based deterrents and F-15EX fighters.
The Australian's are now rife with espionage opportunities given their sell out to so many Chinese interests. I'm sure our nuke propulsion system/sonar et. al. information will be readily available to them soon, if not already. So with that said, I'll say the French.
-
i would counter that locking Australia in a decades long trilateral agreement that will leave them reliant on us for maintenance and support adds significant leverage and fortifies our position with Beijing and influence in the region
definitley not the soft on China ChiCom Joe narrative that you were pushing

Running ships through the South China Sea and playing tough has absolutely no substantial impact relative to the Geo-Strategic mechanisms that China truly wants to dominate, Lick.
China already controls terrifying levels of geo-strategic resources and logistic points in Australia.
-
you should tell china
they seem super butthurt

Some people are easily taken in by rhetoric.
