I'm not sure aTm has raised their profile. Their Johnny Football years are just as relevant as Mizzou's first two years when they went to the SEC championship game. A&M are always in the headlines for getting made fun of and being consistent failures, no one nationally makes fun of Mizzou but both programs have spent a decade being mediocre at best.

To the extent moving to the SEC benefitted A&M’s program at all, I think that will be negated when Texas moves over and they go back to being under the Horns’ shadow.

It's ridic but it's a revolving door. They're more or less like Texas, tons of resources and very little to show for it ultimately.
