Washington looked like absolute trash losing to Montana. QB can't throw AT ALL and WRs can't catch AT ALL. It was amazing!

Oklahoma and Iowa State looked like dog crap and Oklahoma State wasn't much better. West Virginia, in a loss, played much better all three of them.

Loavulle started their next drive and picked up a couple first downs and then the QB gets flushed and as he's retreating tries to throw a pass but a lineman bats it into the air and then intercepts it. So now UCF has the ball back with like 40 seconds left, on the UL 40 yard line, all 3 timeouts. First play from scrimmage...they throw a pick6.

College football is so confusing. It's like how KU went down by TWENTY-ONE POINTS in the first TEN MINUTES of the FIRST QUARTER against Iowa State, even though KU is the better team with the better coach. It just doesn't make sense sometimes.

Snap was good, holder got caught peeking and just kind of dropped it during the catch/hold transition. Even the announcers blew it blaming the kicker for not following through with the kick. It was a wtf sequence all around.

Yeah that gets called like 90% of the time, which makes the no call so great. That said, the PI call on underthrown balls where the receiver lunges back toward the DB is a real pet peeve of mine. It seems really unfair to the defender.

Riley is smart. He is a good coach, but not great. Leaving now gives him a huge contract with huge buyout at LSU. If he regressed more or at the least missed Dr. Pepper again in 2022 with OU his ass will be on the chopping block. If he is smart he leaves OU to protect his income for the next 5+ years with a massive LSU contract.
SEC is a constant coaching carousel that OU will get the pleasure of experiencing shortly.

The saturday after thanksgiving is the greatest sports day on earth for a college FB fan. CFP/Conference championships on the line, amazing rivalry games etc etc.
I watched the OSU MICH game which was amazing and beautiful seeing Michigan fans finally slay their demons in a snowstorm. Then on to a boring Iron Bowl that suddenly got exciting at the end...WOW....Then comes BEDLAM! Definitely lived up to its name this year.
I watched exactly 1 minute of the LSU AM game but it was the last minute and amazing.
Apparently Minnesota beat Wisconsin in some silly rivalry game for the first time as well but I didn't watch any of that.
Anyways what I'm saying is that days like today and images like MICH and Poke fans finally slaying their master and rushing the field with nothing but pure joy on their face remind me that CFP is the greatest sport in the world.

Yeah that gets called like 90% of the time, which makes the no call so great. That said, the PI call on underthrown balls where the receiver lunges back toward the DB is a real pet peeve of mine. It seems really unfair to the defender.

Pro teams have this PI play down pat. Spot fall and automatic first down. Hella great way to advance the ball 20 yards on an underthrown ball.

When they brought Mizzou and a&m in if they put them both in the west they would have had to break up a rivalry and they didn't want to do that so they told Mizzou to play in the east or eff off. Actually a good move if you ask me. I'm guessing when OU and UT come in they'll go to pods and the Big8/SWC teams will make up one of the pods.

My best guess would be below. There are certain groupings that absolutely won't be split (Georgia/Florida, Alabama/Auburn, etc.). The schools that don't really have any true rivals - Kentucky, Arkansas, Missouri, Vandy, South Carolina - could be plug and play into any of the various pods. Tennessee is a tricky one because the school has clout in the league, but they don't really have a true rival.

Yeah - this is definitely plausible too. For certain, if there's one school the league doesn't care about, it's Mizzou. I also don't think they'll care about where to plug in Vandy - it's not like Vandy-Tennesse is a rivaly. It'll be interesting to see if/how Texas A&M bitches about being in a pod with Texas. But, the SEC would just tell them to STFU - just like they did with admitting Texas.

I know all that but it's still funny that an organization of educational institutions used geographic adjectives for their divisions and that's what the resulting map looks like.
Maybe they could've called them northeast and southwest divisions but the "north" part is probably intolerable for some.
