Is J&J garbage, or are gE bros just tough sobs that welcome the second shot? Prob both I guess.The studies available so far as to efficacy of JnJ vs mRNA aren’t really comparable. Only advice is don’t wait for JnJ just cause it’s a 1 shot. I think Pfizer and Moderna are both at their full efficacy in roughly the same timeframe even accounting for the second shot.

I had Pfizer too, but am ear armless, but the shot was two days ago, still time for more ears. I certainly hope so, because my hearing is getting pretty bad. I need to go see one of those audiologist perverts.

I had to drive 2.5 hrs each way today, but was able to schedule rd. 2 within a half hour drive. Easier to schedule a 2nd Pfizer shot right now than a first shot here.

It probably should be reallocated pretty quickly but I don't know how anyone could have predicted the magnitude of discrepancy between rural and urban vaccine acceptance.I had to drive 2.5 hrs each way today, but was able to schedule rd. 2 within a half hour drive. The soonest one I could find outside of basically get it whenever you want in MHK was in Topeka on Thursday. I booked an appointment for the first jab for 3 hours after the first time I even looked into getting it. There were dozens available for that location. It was about 30 minutes from my work and 10 minutes from my house.Must be nice

It's amazing how many just sit back and wait for a call. I'm scheduling friends/family regularly now because they say they want it but they won't go out and search for an appointment.
This is what I was doing but thought it was weird I hadn't heard from the city yet when I signed up in January and they were now begging people to get the vaccine. Apparently I never clicked on the link in the confirmation email they sent me, so I never actually got on the list.

When I got my first chip they handed me propaganda from the cdc to sign up for vsafe. I did it and it's a daily health check from the cdc for a week after your shots and then it's once a week. They text you to check in and you tell them the symptoms you've experienced from the chip. Probably where they get those stats in the news about percent of people with fevers.

I get the Pfizer Deuce this Saturday. I am planning on doing nothing on Saturday night and Sunday except laying in bed. I have a feeling that my immune system will freak the eff out. I suppose that's good if it does.
Oh man Pete. I got my second Pfizer (best shot IMO) Friday. The first one felt like I got hit with a hammer for a day or two, but that was about it. The second one felt like I got hit in the shoulder with 17 hammers for 2 full days and I still don't feel great. Not like sick sick or anything and I haven't had a fever that I'm aware of, but I just feel like crap still today. I just tried to power through a workout and it was tough man. All worth it, but I didn't have any of these issues after the first shot and it sort of sucks. I don't get sick often and being home all year kept all bugs out of the house. I forgot what it felt like to be "sick".

Yeah, she should totally get whatever is available. I would maybe punt the JnJ, but no reason to turn your nose at Moderna even though it is the second best one and not at all as good as the Pfizer one.

You will be fine for the lessons but I wouldn't try and play 18 on thursday/friday.
I played golf 2 days after getting the 1st shot and it hurt everytime I brought the club back. Felt fine the day of the shot though.

I got Moderna. I could barely lift my arm in the shower the next day.
Same for me with Pfizer. Second one was even worse, just a dull throbbing pain. My wife just had the normal shot pain and said it wasn't a big deal. Really interesting how it affects different people.

They make it random so that sometimes it's the first, and sometimes it's the second. People have erroneously attributed this phenomenon to whether or not prior COVID exposure is present. But that's just what they want you to believe.

My chip 1 reaction was pretty mild. Some arm soreness but not worth even bitching about. I am dreading my second chip (but obviously that won't stop me from getting it).
This is the same for me. I haven't been sick (not even a cold) in years, so I am worried the second one is going to lay me out. Still gettin it though!

I get my second Banquet Vaccine shot tomorrow afternoon, and basically planning on this type of experience too. Ugh. On the upside, it does look like the experts agree that you can take Tylenol and stuff after the shot if I get bad side effects.

yeah, I had the antis and never knew I had the rona so clearly my immune system is a one shot, one kill type of assassin and it worries me.
Yeah, the nurse told me I very likely had it too, but now I can’t confirm it. My wife had it and only found out ‘cause her employer ultimately had everyone tested. She felt fine throughout her entire quarantine.

Good luck Pete. Mine was weird. I was pretty fine the first day after other than the really sore arm. I didn't feel shitty until the second and third day. It wasn't terrible though, just tired and felt bad.

Felt a tad warm the day after and pretty tired. Had a mild headache until Monday which 1 ibuprofen handled each day. I would compare it to a mild hangover. Got lucky I think.

Moderna #2 installation successful. As with the last one, left arm immediately feels a little tingly, which I assume means tomorrow will not be a very good time.Starting feeling cold around 12 hours later and by 1am it was pretty bad chills but no other real symptoms, so kind of a strange feeling. Next day felt like a mild hangover in the morning, then a cold minus the sore throat/runny nose in the afternoon. By late in the evening I felt pretty much back to normal.
Arm soreness almost exactly the same as with #1.

Only for a few months. If COVID sticks around, all of the vaxxed people will just have to regularly re-up until everyone else dies off to herd immunity over the course of about 20-30 years. It will happen a lot faster without restrictions than with them.

Also had second of Moderna on Saturday at noon. Oddly didn't have any side effects until about 6pm Sunday eve... pounding headache, fever, fatigue. Took a melatonin, passed out and woke up Monday morning back to normal.

Moderna #2 kicked my ass. Fever/chills kicked in about 26 hours post-jab with a bad headache to boot. Hugely fatigued also. Woke up in the middle of the night and my sheets were soaked with sweat. I'm at the 40 hour mark and fever is down to 99.0. I think I'm about out of the woods on this deal, but phew that was rough.

I think it's perfectly acceptable to do this if you want. You'll likely be fully recovered from your hangover before the real fun begins anyway.

With the pfizer already completed I'm hoping to knock out the J&J next then complete the trifecta with a Moderna before the end of the summer.

12 hrs. after second Moderna chip I made manicotti and drank a bottle and a half of wine. Slept through most of the flu symptoms.

For those "who can tell who is vaxxed and can unmask" people, the guidance is basically saying it don't matter, vaxxed don't need to worry about hanging out with the unclean and if you aren't vaxxed and want to be a dumbass, go for it. Normal life for chipped is back.

Brother is just thinking he's invincible, not really hesitant, just didn't think he needed it, but now is willing to just be done with it.
Both I think wanting to get it so they don't have to wear a mask anymore and feel justified in doing so

Yeah, I'm a bit confused. I had to schedule my first and second shot together when I scheduled my first shot. And at my first shot they confirmed my second shot appointment.
They scheduled my second shot when I got the first.
