If someone were to give me $100 today and I had to go buy something, I would probably go to Scheels. I'm not really sure though, I haven't put any thought into it. Thoughts?

Yeah, those too. It's crazy the amount of places we have like this. Scheels lets you test clubs out tho and it's like a giant amusement park for outdoorsy guys. They have a ferris wheel in the store for crying out loud.

Yes. I live about 5 minutes from Lowes and 10 from Ace but will almost always go to Ace because it completely rules.

I need some shoes. I have a hard time finding black shoes that are better than sneakers but not full on dress shoes. Also, seems like there are many iterations of like 3 shoe designs. I'd probably shop for some and then go buy the wife a nice dinner when I couldn't find anything I like.

Southwest is a joke. Original Dot's: very, very good. Southwest Dot's: not good. Dot's candy bars (!!): good.

Southwest is a joke. Original Dot's: very, very good. Southwest Dot's: not good. Dot's candy bars (!!): good.

I agree that Original Dot's are very, very good. But Southwest is a really nice change of pace for a Dot Head like me.

I have a local True Value that is almost further from me than Home Depot and it is cramped and smells musty and has a limited selection but I'll be damned if there isn't always someone there to help me find exactly what I need and even though it might cost a little more than HD it's worth it.

yeah I've done that and my local one is such a shitshow it doesn't work half the time. again, prefer the ability to ask for help.

I've have really become a fan of Menards in the last year. Ace still the go to though. I could spend hours in the specialty hardware aisle.

Not to diss anyone who likes them but I think they are gross. Like having your face rubbed in a bowl of MSG. One of my favorite coworkers is morbidly obese and loves them. So many vastly preferable salty snacks out there.

SASHA KAUN: FIGURING IT OUT
Coming from Russia, former Kansas standout Sasha Kaun had no idea about sports in the United States, and his homeland, the idea of becoming a professional athlete was not one he ever thought about. Interestingly, Kaun came to the United States and a boarding school in Florida for academics, where basketball wasn’t even on his radar. Through hard work, Kaun figured out basketball enough to land a scholarship to the University of Kansas and a Jayhawk national championship in 2008. He then spent eight seasons in professional basketball, seven in Russia and one NBA World Championship season with Cleveland. All along, he let his curiosity and hard work guide him, and it’s safe to say, he figured it out.
