Gotta extend him through 2024 AT LEAST, to keep the core of this team together.

We’ll enjoy the Dr Pepper in a couple years if we do.

He's waiting for Gene to name the court after him.  Once that happens he is free and clear to do whatever he wants for however long he wants.

Gene likes to employ his friends.  oscar was here before Gene so he technically isn't one of the Gene crew.  That should be what oscar is worried about

oscar has friends who tell Gene what to do so no worries on his end.
