tonight's the night many of us true cat purples have been waiting for, some in the business call it SHOWDOWN TUESDAY BETWEEN THE CATS AND THE (RED) RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.
the cats journey south to lubbock in search of some meow mix for dinner. dinner will be served at 6pm on espnU.

as an objective journo, i honestly can say i'm not sure who is the better team here- both have shown signs that they're champs who are here for good and no one can knock them off of their pedestals. since this is a mid-week roadie for the cats, and they've seemed to struggle when traveling mid-week during the grueling conference stretch that is the b12 conference season, i have to give a slight advantage to the ROUGE RAIDERS. but does PROFESSOR oscar "ASSWHIPPIN" WEBER have his cats hungry for yet another DUB? some wildcat insiders have indicated to me via PM and DM that yes, that is the case. :horrorsurprise:

I really like this team. These freshmen are really fun. Selton should never ever ever again have a 0 point game, he's so physically gifted. Really could have used Ez tonight, we were dog crap when Linguard was on the floor.

Eh, I don't think so, but I'm not sure. What's crazy about this team is they've yet to have anything close to what their full compliment of players available. How will the bigs be used when they're all available. Is Kasbuke Christian Braun 2.0 or is he Brian Patrick?
If you told me that all the freshmen came back, weren't hurt, and Selton was the leading scorer, then yeah, this team is making the tournament.

I don't know if McGuirl can come back, but it would be huge for tournament prospects if he did. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they make it without him. They seem to be really good players that are really inexperienced right now.

i can only really watch highlights. but it does seem like miguel is going to be that guy for us that gets buckets and makes plays. seems to be comfortable with the ball and attacking, also makes good passes. really love him.
our studs will have a great junior year, but when the time comes to recruit it'll need to pick up so that they have a great senior year as well. will need to start bruceing guys soon.

We are now in high volume losing territory, 4-18 in conference play going back to last season.

Me too. And I know it's super losery to say, but I can handle some of these losses when I like watching the product, and can see it getting better.
With Selton, I know this is going to be a lazy comparison, but I see him always having a physical advantage over whoever is guarding him and being able to create either by getting to the bucket (in turn, the line) or penetrating and dishing, a shittier version of what Lebron does for stretches.

Yeah, this year will be a lot more tolerable than last year because the freshmen last year were kind of meh and the upperclassmen were, let's say mediocre.

Will the big3 surpass brown/wade/stokes? At least it’s unlikely they’ll be as injured as Wade was just due to the fact he had some terrible luck with injuried. I see Pack being better than stokes, the other 2 not so sure! Wades efficient shooting was such a weapon. Barry, of course, stud.

Bradford's stats are comparable to freshman Wade's. Pack's comparable to freshman Brown. 20/21 Gordon's stats comparable to Stokes's usual output.
