Title: Fire and Ice - 2021 too soon to return?
Post by: pissclams on January 04, 2021, 03:20:59 PM
i've done more than my share of research on this and there's a chance that Fire & Ice makes it's return in 2021.  you think Yeast is transferring into a non-Fire & Ice situ? i doubt it.  he wants to get the dubs immediately.

combine Yeast with our current studs in the Fire & Ice line up and we could be a salty bunch that takes no prisoners.
but do you guys want to know where my concern lies with the 2021 edition of Fire & Ice?  the corp of linebackers.  these guys don't have the "it" factor.  any chance we land some studs from the portal?  any LB studs we can recruit from the portal?

Remember how pumped we were for Daniel Green when he signed here in 2013, now is his time.

Clams per usual has nailed the analysis, we need TWO more grad transfer LB’s of the good variety.

every single day is fire and ice in 2021 if you ask me.  this staff better be hounding the portal to get us some stud LBs to strengthen the corp.

yep, if you aren't taking an every day mindset to fire & ice, the fire goes out and the ice melts.  i think this staff wants to take a part time approach to recruiting, pretty sad.

i guess so, but something tells me this staff may have a trick up their sleeve with the portal, and that trick is fire and ice if you catch my drift

If we can upgrade the LBs it is definitely a Fire and Ice scenario for 21

How much longer does the portal stay open? I'm pretty sure we can squeeze one LB that will have the rest of the conference shitting its pants through the portal. I don't know if we have enough time or space or energy to squeeze two through. What about one LB and another Yeast caliber safety? Would that even work? Is that a dumb question?

If we get Brents as I 100% expect we will, this D will be more like Fire & Ice & Covid.

I smell a fire and ice tornado  :Wha:.

It's a really weird thing to look at when this thing gets spinning. From the ground up the tornado alternates between frigid ice and white hot fire that burns so orangey bright you can't believe your eyes. You used to hear legend of a F&IT back in grade school, but until you've been a puny QB from an opposing school standing on the ground looking at this monstrosity coming your way, you really just have no idea of its true magnitude. That's KSU State football, 2021 version.

I think it'll be ready to devastate, but will Klanderman know how to handle/unleash it??

brents and yeast are the first in a long list of portal dimes about to drop to ksu. F&I is back.
someone who i trust has told me to expect a couple more to dimes to drop through the portal very soon.  klieman and his staff have played the portal game masterfully to the benefit of cat nation.
