I bought everything on Cyber Monday, but I really only got one Cyber Monday deal. This will be the first year in a while that I know, for a fact, I'll have everyone's gift before Christmas.

I asked for a coat rack, a pizza pan and I can't remember what else.

I don't know why I was told, but I was told that a mysgift I'm getting was going to be released on 12/15 and that I'd be getting it by 12/25.  Since I'm being told that clue anyway, I figure I'm being encouraged to solve this.

What things were to be released yesterday that it could be?

And the new clue is that while it was supposed to be released yesterday, "they still have not done it."

I already asked and was told no as far as it maybe being my own pfizer microchip set.

EDIT: in the original clue, it was to be shipping to the giver by 12/19 and brought to me by 12/25.

definitely get her something.  sounds lame but it could be something like a coupon to go booze mimosas with her friends and cabana boy while you clean baby crap and do laundry or whatever.  i'm guessing a day away from that would be the most valuable thing in the world to you guys right now.

I got my mom a fancy, old timey, vintagey vinegar cruet on ebay of all places.  Got my daughter some kitchen stuff, she's getting more into baking!  Nobody else asked for anything so they're all getting jack crap, and I haven't asked for anything so I fully expect to get jack crap.

I got Mrs. Wacky a Bowflex, because she was nagging me for a Peleton for years and then she switched it on me and went for a treadmill instead.

Almost lost Gator (our dog) because of it too. Movers brought it in Sunday and left the backyard gate open without us knowing. We let Gator out on Sunday and he ran away.  :frown: I was lucky to find him an hour later. Some nice lady had him on a leash and I guess he was walking with her and her other dog. I drove around and for awhile and found them a half a block away from the house.  :D

yep get her something.. also get yourself something small as well so if she doesn't get you anything or have the time to you don't make her feel like an awful person

I bought my wife a Kitchen Aid mixer.  She's been asking for one for years but she doesn't cook.  But I cook and I decided to get her that mixer so that I'll have it for cooking.

Got my wife (and also myself) a nice espresso machine since we both work from home.  Also, have a plan to set it up away from the kitchen to preserve counter space which was a requirement for me.

That reminds me that my co-worker Ted - the one who got married on Zoom - his wife got him a KitchenAid for his birthday. Ted does not do any kind of cooking/baking that would necessitate a stand mixer. she effectively was able to check "buy Ted birthday present" and "get a stand mixer" off her list in one fell swoop.

So what does it say about me that my in-laws think I would enjoy a "history" book "written" by Bill O'Reilly? Are they trying to set me straight because I read news from dangerous left-wing organizations like the Wall Street Journal or do I give off a vibe that says I like to use my leisure time read books written by morons, for morons?

I read Killing Lincoln a few years ago. It could be that Bill’s association with FoxNews has poisoned my opinion of him (do miss the old Inside Edition days). I think I will stick with David McCullough and Ron Chernow.

A family member gave me “Killing the Rising Sun” yesterday. Said it was very good and really highlights “how viscous the Japanese were.” The intro to the book is Bill owning Jeremiah Wright (and Obama by proxy) for questioning the morality of dropping atomic bombs on civilians. Why you would pick this book out the mountains of books out there about WW2 and questions surrounding the use of atomic weapons.

None of those other books are written at a 5th grade reading level.
