contract. they put them up and take them down and store them for me. it was a lot of money up front but it's very cheap now annually. and if I decide I don't want to do it anymore they will drop off the container with my house lights in it at my place. I'm not getting up on that roof. also they will change or add to our stuff if we want and they replace all the bulbs and come out if somethings not working and all that.

Last year we had a pumpkin painted with a Chiefs logo next to our front door until after the Super Bowl. This year there’s a pumpki painted with Andy Reid’s face & will probably be there until February too.

All family holidays on both sides have been cancelled. We’ll probably end up zoom paking with Phil & Mrs. Titola a couple times around the holidays. I do have one brother that will probably visit. His job is full time WFH. He can easily quarantine a couple weeks prior to visiting.

It's also worth noting these people moved in the week of Halloween. They also have to wheel their trashcans by these pumpkins every Monday.

Is it as glorious as the reviews? I had questioned spending this much on a Christmas tree stand, but I figured if it saved me 30 minutes every Christmas for the next 30 years, it would be worth it. I've thrown half my stands away the last 10 years because I lose the plastic tips / screws or the thing ends up cracking. Figured it was time to make an investment.

Just know that as soon as you whoop up on those rabbits the squirrel gang will take over the rabbits old territory and you will have an even bigger problem on your hand. Very similar to NYC when they took out the old Mafia families only to see the Russian Mobsters take over.

I should get a timer for my outdoor lights. Half of the time I remember to turn them on and off. The other half of the time they're either off in the evening or on all night long.

I have some wifi switches on mine that were cheap and work well. can schedule or turn them on off with my phone. also the inside ones. all on wifi switches.

I hate having to use wifi plugs as I like to keep everything zwave but I have something just like your exterior one for my patio lights but also has a dimming feature that I can't find with zwave capabilities.

It seems to me to be more of a supplier issue. Popular products just aren't available. Other stuff, however, is. Tonight, I just bought a XBox Elite Series 2 controller that will be here tomorrow morning. Bought from a reseller though for $20 over MSRP. The same product at MSRP from Microsoft's Amazon store may or may not have arrived by Christmas.

All my stuff seems 72 hours instead of 24. Maybe broke isn't the right word but there are noticeable delays on most stuff. Christmas toy gifts for the nephew and niece seem really delayed.

Yeah, I mean, YMMV, but some xmas toys I purchased that were supposed to arrive today actually arrived early yesterday :dunno:. By way of full disclosure, I do not own any Amazon stock, although I may own fractional interests through various funds.
