Has anyone else noticed that he has suddenly become inconsistent in his pass-catching? I can think of at least 2 TD's he's dropped that were catchable passes. I know that he comes through with stud plays, but am wondering if anyone else has noticed (besides NFL scouts)?

Yes, he had some bad drops, but he's also dropped some balls that were not great throws as well. I think a bigger issue is that he hasn't found ways to get open like he did last year.

I feel like he has pretty good straight line speed, he’s got a big body but he must not be a very crisp route runner.

I look it as a glass half full situation. When staff coach up Knowles and Youngblood to their potential, this team will take another big step toward titletown.

Pretty clear that Howard has spent a lot of time throwing to DJamer Render in practice. I didn't even know who he was. At least YB was used as a decoy several times yesterday, our guy Malik is way off the plot right now.

Dammit! Howard drops one into his hands in the end zone and he doesn't handle it. Announcers say KU defender broke it up, but a decent, much less good, wide receiver, would have snagged that.

Knowles dropped another touchdown pass in the 3rd quarter. But he looked pretty studly on that 7 yd reception (1st of the game for him).
