The gun thing is the one that gets me. They're all gung ho about the 2nd amendment, but they don't ever allow guns at their gatherings. In red states you can take guns everywhere, except for the statehouse. They don't allow guns at their conventions, not even the NRA conventions, what are they afraid of?

It really started when I pointed out that alabama was the very last place for humans in this country. his identifying with trump's morbid obesity kind of finished it off.

Just spoke to a super conservative couple I grew up with.
They now carry everywhere they go including in there own home (in the country).
I can't imagine having a fearful and cowardly worldview.
