I’ve never tried to grow a beard before, but now seems like the perfect time to try. I’m six days in and it looks horrible. How long should I give it to fill in? When do I just call it quits and start shaving again?
-
I usually keep a neatly trimmed beard, but I've let it grow out for about 4 weeks. Looks like crap. My facial hair seems to grow in every-which-way direction.
-
I’ve been shaving head and face for years so I’m not used to having anything growing up there. Turns out I have some gray in the beard so that’s another check in the shave it off column.

A little salt 'n pepper is a good thing, daver.

good time to give the mustache a test drive #vroomvroom

Like 8 months into a yeard I had to trim it. Haven't actually razor shaved in 5 years (interview for current job).

Your neck beard. That's the most annoying part of shaving, and I say this as a bearded man.
-
Oh crap. Straight shave every morning along with the upper cheeks where I get stragglers.

Speaking of stragglers, anyone else get that one rogue eyebrow follicle that grows like an inch long, if not abated?
-
I figure I'll not shave through the lock down.
It looks like crap and will always look like crap, but I wanna know exactly how bad. My cheek hair is THIN.
-
Trying, but I keep trimming it with the #10 on the trimmer when it's just too mumped up looking. I use the 0.5 on the neck but consistently end up going too high with that.
-
Lost my card while in costco yesterday and had to get a new one and it looks like a real beard in the picture taken with their shitty b/w camera.

Seems to get more and more of those every passing year. I pluck those mothers!
-
Quickly approaching 50 and the ear/nose/eyebrow rogue growth is much to bear.
-
I shaved my beard off last night. What a rush. I'm going to let it grow back though. Much like ranchers burn their pastures, I'm confident this move will ensure that my beard will grow back healthier and more glorious than it was before.
-
my hair was not designed to grow out.

Same but I'm forging ahead at least through the weekend.

Me either. That's exactly why I'm doing it. I'll look like total crap. Can't wait.
-
It’s been a few weeks since I last shaved.

Yes. I always try to cut them before my wife sees because if she sees one she will pluck it which is ouch city usa.
