So this team every game reminds me more and more of the 2016-2017 year. I have had nightmares about the play in fate for this team but honestly feel like that is what oscar is shooting for.
We have a lot of injured bigs which was a problem with the 2016 squad. However we had an NBA caliber forward on that roster.
This team needs Sneed more than ever and Montavious Murphy healthy.
In order to stay afloat this team is gonna have to have at least 3 ranked wins.

It's crazy to think this is what got us a play in- berth my freshman year but if 2019-2020 doesn't get their crap together once conference play starts we will not be in the NCAA Tournament come march.

Ain't happening. Throughout his career when Oscar loses a team, it stays lost.
But it's heat check time when players suddenly contribute. Maybe the class of 2018 recruits will come on to help us. Lets check their progress -- Goodnews, no longer with the program; Trice, no longer with the program; Williams, no longer with the program. Oh well, maybe the 2017 class -- McGurl, starter; Stockard, a meager 5 pts and 3.5 rbs in the 17 minutes per game he plays; Shad, still with the program but hopelessly inept and injury prone; Love, still on scholarship but hopelessly inept and injury prone.
A program that basically goes two years without recruiting can't be expected to make the tournament.

They aren't going to make the tornament, but are going to win a couple games over teams they will have no business beating (which will be fun to watch).

I don't think we make the tournament but I don't think it's out of the question. Shitty teams get in every year and commentators act shocked at the "soft bubble" since they expanded to 68

I'm jealous af of Greg. Hob spor season is way more fun when you have the NCAA tournament to look forward to so while many have decided they don't want to avert our eyes from the trainwreck Greg is out here living his best life, crossing his fingers the cats play the opening weekend of the tournament somewhere within reasonable driving distance
