Title: Exhibition: Emporia State
Post by: KST8FAN on October 24, 2019, 09:04:13 PM
Anyone going?  I want to be in the first 1500 to get one of those mini Big 12 Champions banners.

Nope.  Watching at home.  Wondering if anyone will start a "Makol Mawein Doink" thread for when he makes an egregiously bad shot/play.

I'm too old to figure out the video capture thing.  But my guess is the youngsters on this board would be pretty good at it.

Oh, I am very, very sure there will be more opportunities throughout the season to make this dream become a reality.

Listen, I think oscar sold his soul to the devil to make this crap work a 2nd time around, but I’m legit rough ridin' sold. The new class looks great and I think he’s building another monster for the next 4 years.

oscar is squeaky clean, both in voice and in how he conducts business.  I for one, have always had faith in his leadership.  He is showing his true colors and leading the program how I knew he always could.

Murphy and A Gordon being able to hold down the 4 would be a really pleasant surprise this year.  Sloan looks like he might be a decent pg option too.

Antonio Gordon is *really* fun to watch.  I love that he is intense and smiles and celebrates when good stuff happens (of course, a lot of good stuff happened for him tonight - quite a debut!).  He reminds me of Jeremiah Massey as a junior - wow.

It's pretty encouraging if D. Gordon has been outplaying him in practice.

wow, impressive by antonio. wasn't so sure about him after the scrimmage.

it's pretty damn rare to find 3 star bigs that contribute right away, and we might have 2 of them.

Let’s be honest, the vets had to take a back seat tonight. It was worth it.

I don't disagree with your take.  There is great young talent in, and coming into, the program.
