almost everyone that contributed in the elite 8 run is still here i think. just no barry and kamau. but a 2 years older cartier, mcguirl, sneed, mak, plus addition of dajuan and murphy could make up for it.

Sounds about right. The cats with talent and a massive chip on their shoulder is a dangerous combo.

I don't believe in censorship, but if I did, reno would get the rough ridin' axe.

https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/bossi-s-best-10-freshmen-who-could-outplay-their-ranking

Why he could outplay ranking: We already gave Gordon a big boost in June after watching him play at the USA Basketball team tryouts. I’m worried it wasn’t enough. He’s athletic, he plays very hard and he should be a high-level defender from the get-go. His ball-handling and shooting are both coming along, I’ve heard nothing but good things out of Manhattan, and I won’t be surprised if he ends up in the NBA at some point in his career.

I realized after I got home that I’d forgotten to auction or raffle some prints I’d brought to FattyFest. :frown:

Nice!  This is pretty exciting analysis if true.  I keep thinking that eventually Diarra, Gordon and Sneed will be our starting backcourt, but I would guess that at first Williams gets the nod at PG and Diarra is the SG.  We will see soon I suppose, either way I imagine that Gordon will get “starter like minutes.”

For those who went to the scrimmage what did the fours look like?  I would guess Stockard starts?
Title: Re: scrimmage
Post by: stunted on October 24, 2019, 11:46:53 PM
mak was wack.

stockard looks about the same. can't shoot still.

murphy looks like he'll be a giant stud. plays hard, great teammate. #myguy

gordon didn't play well and was frustrated throughout.

murphy and gordon seem like they'll have the green light to shoot threes which is nice.

Sounds like BDB is gonna have this team ready to play

i should add that dajuan gordon was a sniper from outside. i see him being a better xavier sneed type eventually.

i think what this team needs though is a playmaker or a guy that can go get buckets.

i agree, he can be that guy. i get the feeling he's been itching for the chance. or because he's really cool so it seems that way.
