Title: KSU Offense; is it a Mess?
Post by: nicname on September 29, 2019, 09:11:49 AM
Man, kind of seems that way without Knowles. Osu's defense seems bad and we made them look good.

 :buh-bye:

It seemed like the Cats were unwilling to check out of a run when OSU stacked the box, and were also unwilling to run it when OSU had 5 or 6 in the box.

maybe we should hire a real defensive coordinator and not the lead fiddle for the soggy bottom boys

Look. Everything has been a mess since we lost Associate Head Coach Sean Snyder.

Rewatching the game because I didn’t catch much last night.  Seeing them put 8 in the box and play man with one safety deep is all you need to know about our WR talent minus Knowles.  Honestly we probably had a better chance just using holcombe as a CK type battering ram.

I just spent 2-3 minutes looking for a "this" emoji and couldn't find it.

I'm glad someone else notices this

Yes I did!

I did not, but hearing about it reminds me of how Bill would sit in the press box and take notes during Prince's games. And that makes me think that Bill and Sean will be making a pitch to calm the waters in a couple of years.

I have been going to KSU Football games and watching players I coached play since 1973.
What HOFHCBS did was, perhaps, the greatest story in college Football.

On the other hand, you take Shawn Spencer Synder, fold him 5 times and put him where the moon will never shine(btw, watch out for the dull points).

This.  OSU has the DB talent to win man-to-man almost every play.  Everyone else could watch the ball carrier / QB... tough to win that way regardless of who is play calling.  Hopefully we can figure something out, Baylor and TCU seem beatable.

Maybe if your last head coach didnt leave stud meadowlark a bunch of Pittsburgh state rejects to work with,  you would've won.

Ssshhh. Telling the truth is not the way to win friends and influence enemies.
