there is absolutely zero chance that this mississippi state team slows down this kansas state offense, they lack the physical playmakers it takes to go up against messingham's offense (which I refer to as, "the mess").
we are markedly better than this sec team in all three phases of the game and this will be the best defense that the bulldogs see all year in starkville. i 100% believe that klieman intends on sending a message to the sec and would be shocked if he doesn't run the score up on them this saturday.
heading into the 4th quarter with a +30 point lead should be our goal against subpar teams like these guys
if all goes as planned our starters will get a much needed rest headed into the bye week so we can begin preparing for the b12 teams

They just don't get enough reps against big 12 speed to be able to be prepared for the speed merchants. I honestly feel bad for them and their conference.

Heard cotton Aggie was planning on letting their grass grow extra tall this week to slow down all our burners. I’ve been reviewing film on the Bulldogs last game, and honestly they do not look like a Power 5 team. However, I blame their conference more than Miss St administration (though the school does have a very poor reputation). We’ve all talked a lot about how fast the SEC has declined over the last few years, and I am more and more convinced that apart from Alabama the SEC is simply not good. LSU got lucky with some obviously bad calls Saturday night, and if it were not for that luck the SEC would be the butt of a LOT more jokes right now.

Let’s talk DEFENSE (when Mississippi has the ball):
Much talk has been made about their rb Kelvin Hill. Some “experts” are even saying mr. hill is a future pro (Canada? NFL?). But let’s be HONEST about this. Much of Kyle’s praise is undoubtedly due to running against SEC defenses. FRANKLY, I’m can’t say I’m too impressed.
Prediction: Ken will have an upHILL battle Saturday vs our Cat Defense.
TOUGH SLEDDING!
Edit to add: Yes, Kalvin DID have success against LAST year’s Cats under Snyder, but I think we can safely say that defense was MUCH more SEC than B12. NOT the case this season with Klieman now at the Wildcat helm.

It's obvious the SEC is steadily going down hill, since they made the mistake of scheduling Big XII games. It just shows who's got the big balls. If this keeps going, they'll be the laughing stock of P5. :th_twocents:
Alabama will be so embarrassed they will beg the Big XII to let them in, and I don't think Sabin can save them.

When you talk about burners the last place I think is Miss St. Heaters the same way. When I think of burners and heaters it’s camel reds which I smoke after every TD we score. Needless to say I smoke a LOT of camel reds.

Speaking of burners, word on the street is they are saying Isaiah Zuber (nice youngster, but too slow for KSU) has “SEC speed.” Can’t help but think that bodes well for our Cats, and the future of the B12.

Yeah, I mean the Cats won by 7 which is what Vegas thought anyway. I expected them to cover, by double the spread or so.
