the excitement levels for this show are off of the charts.
cbs. july 9th. 5 nights a week. the british version is supposed to be great, which means the american version is going to be even more incredible than great is.

What's the cinematography like?

I looked at the cast photos and it's a bunch of Hollywood 6's, hard pass. (euphoria is all like Hollywood 9's+)

between television + twitter time, i'd estimate 4-5 hours (watching 4 of the 5 weekly episodes inclusive of 15 mins twitter per episode)

'clams, let me just say, i am hooked on love island. the people seem a lot less douchey than that other show that kristin cutler was hosting.
pretty funny how caro tried to get 2 other guys to pick her, and then by the end of the epi, she's already stage 5 clinging all over cashel.
who do you think kyra picks? i think she'll pick cashel or weston, cashel obvs would make some good night 2 watching.
great storylines, so dramatic!

kyra maybe picks weston but i hope she picks cashenova because like you said, incredible television. regardless of who she picks, she is very sexy. kyra is my favorite.

Just started this on demand over lunch. It's showing it's 1.5 hours. Was this 2 rough ridin' hours including commercials?
Thoughts so far:
The giant mic packs and harnesses are very distracting
When the Siesta Key song started playing during one chick's intro, I got my hopes up thinking a MTV scripted reality show was about to take over

it looks like love island is expecting severe weather in the form of hurricane katrina. that's right, katrina dimaranan, the asian sensation, is joining the cast and this 25 year old bombshell is definitely going to make some waves in week 2! also joining the cast tonight is christen mcallister who definitely will not be left home alone for long! did i mention that yesterday was weston's birthday????

if i'm weston, i'm going to try to achieve kyra's pelt just based upon how rare her pelt is and the status her pelt would give to him. i don't think the duck lips girl is very good looking, something about her tells me she's from a place like ottawa ks or salina ks or somewhere similar

mackenzie is stage 5 as they say, fortunately for her connor appears to not have a spine. i can't look at her face, why are lip injections a thing, 90% of them do not turn out well.

last night was kinda not as great as i thought it would be. the girls they brought in weren't that attractive for a show like this. jonny and cely will still be together. mackenzie totally changing her tune was hilarious, hopefully connor will sack up and dump her ass (he won't) and she can leave alone and crying. moira looks hotter every day, she's naturally very beautiful. i would have rather tre/lauren stayed over carrington/what's her name.
