I just renewed and my anecdotal evidence is that season tickets will be down pretty significantly because I got over in to Section 2 after not making the season ticket renewal deadline and they had multiples together all over the place.
Anyone else getting tickets this year? Shout out your section!
LET'S KICK OFF THE KLEIMAN ERA WITH PURPLE WILDCATS READY TO ROLL!
-
i did even though i only made it to manhattan twice last fall and couldn't give my other tickets away. but like the OP said, roll to purple and that's what i do, pick up my lunch pail and roll to damn purple in section 13
-
Lucky section 13! What if I told you, I sat for an entire year in the SEZ, then moved over to the SE corner last year?
-
yeah i want to move, problem is i'm a few rows away from my friends i tailgate with, and it's like a one minute walk to our tailgate on the west lot, wouldn't mind being in the SW corner.
-
I feel like not having the sun in my face on those early season kicks will be such a luxury.
-
NEZ, why because they are cheap and don't have to give to the ahearn fund. And pretty good seats if you get there early and dont get stuck behind a goal post. That is usually a problem for my tailgating though.
-

The shade from the press box is amazing. I moved out of section 2 a few years ago.
-
Tickets haven’t arrived yet.
-
really, i just got mine in the mail last Thursday. i'd call the ticket office.
-

I imagine it would be significantly less rowdy over there amongst all the old tucks. Is it less rowdy? :users:
-
Bought season tickets for the first time in a section that requires donation even though I’m not sure I can make it to a single game. Then remembered they just made it so that donation isn’t tax deductible. I’m doing this so wrong you guys. Really hoping these things have some resale value. LOOKING AT YOU MEADOWLARK.

Tickets haven’t arrived yet.

I'm also in two, again. When I selected my seat I wanted to move into 3,4, or 5 and there weren't four seats available.
-
Checked email, they haven’t arrived there yet either.
i'm sure you already have, but did you check your junk mail?
-
i would try rebooting your computer before checking the junk mail.
saul, any pro-tips here that could help out?
-
perhaps you have not updated your address and your tickets are now sitting in the hands of a stranger
-

Oh crap, hang on.
-
call ticket office asap
-
I hadn't updated my address with kstatesports but DO have mail forwarding on. Rogue mailman (or mailwoman!)?
-
I would definitely suspect mail theft regardless. Meadowlark fever has spread and Cats tickets are a hot commodity. Even honest folks just can’t help themselves at this point.
-
What I’m saying is I would probably call the police and report both your neighbors as suspects immediately so they can start building the case (these things take a while).

Section 23 for the 28th year.

Check your isis account?
-
I think it is now your K sys account. @sys confirm?
-
If we go 6-6 this season, I am ALL IN and im buying season tickets. Only gonna go to 1-2 games a year but :kstategrad: so WGAF
-
I think it is now your K sys account. @sys confirm?
i don't understand anything in this thread.
-
Reset my KSIS password and logged in, no tickets. Gonna give it another week to see if it's just a matter of the mail forwarding being delayed.
-
80% chance someone has already got them in the mail and resold them at a huge markup.
-
Southwest corner, section 8. Love my seats.

HAHAHAHA THEY WILL BE SUED
-
buy some other tickets and go confront them first game
-
Anyone got extra tickets for the first game?

Anyone got extra tickets for the first game?
I’ll even post Trim’s personal email address so that he is guaranteed tickets. Don’t want a true EMAW to be denied tickets.
:emawkid:
-
Fair warning, it contains references to who TRIM actually is, real offers only!
-
Trim is so eager for tickets yet he has disappeared from being online! Strange, I’m just trying to help. It’s much earlier in the day where is is, weird!
-
Guys, let me know. TRIM has made numerous posts that he’s interested. Let me help you finish the deal. TRIM is just, shy, he wants tickets so badly he just can’t quite commit.
-
What the heck is this weirdness??
-
Just trying to make sure a true EMAW isn’t denied tickets.
-
What the heck is this weirdness??
Looks like the ticket thief hax0red dbt and is now taunting trim.
-
Taunting? He even reset his KSIS password lib he obviously isn’t being a giant douchebag or anything. He just wants some tickets.

Not if you know hemmy.
-
Hmmm, if I can get KSU to get the tickets to arrive to me electronically and then have hemmy print them, will the hemmy-printed tickets nullify the missing/stolen tickets?
-
Probably just whoever gets scanned first. Better be there early
-
Reboot your router

Probably were being delivered by a drone. Might have been shot down/hijacked. :dunno:

This afternoon was my window to change seat locations thru the online site. For the last 10 years I probably lose an hour plus clicking on other seats and dreaming then end up keeping the same seats I've had since '92.
This year I made the bold move up 3 rows and closer to the aisle. Can't abandon my section 23 brothers and sisters.
A little more shade and rain protection... signs of getting old?

I bought season soccer tickets that’s it.

It is alleged that 95% of 2019 season tickets were renewed.

I moved to the west side like five or six years ago for this very reason.

I moved from section 2 to the front row of the east side upper deck. I’m still happy I made the move, but I do miss the shade.
-
This is the first time since '05 that I will not have season tickets. Life changes, but we'll see what happens in the future.
I started out in the student section, then went to the east side upper deck as an alumni, then west side south goal line, then west side north 15 yard line. Now... I'll have to start over, but such is life.
-
I wasn't going to get them this year, but I decided here at the last minute to buy some. I did the flex season pass which will have me in a different seat every game. I'm mostly expecting to have super shitty seats for the Oklahoma game.

I wouldn't worry, I see plenty of season ticket availability on the K-State Football horizon. Single games are a breeze now, and will likely just get easier as the long term mediocrity fully sets in.
-
I had flex tickets in '18 and the seats were good side view around 0 to 20 yard line. Only issue is fans you will be sitting next to may be the shits. Good thing is I only had that issue at two games. Good luck, Luke.

It really sucks that we spent so much money with very little results. :th_twocents:

While I hate comparisons to other schools, I think it is appropriate to note that we're not alone by any respect. Lotta money spent at a lot of schools for very mediocre to moderate needle moving results.
I've been in Athens, Auburn and Tuscaloosa in the last 2 months and seen all of their latest work and been to games at all three. K-State exceeds all but Auburn and their brand new football complex from a players amenities perspective. The renovations and additions at Buttes-Mare (Georgia) and the Mal Moore Building (Alabama) are really nice, but neither building is as impressive as the VFFC. K-State meets (on the East side) and exceeds with WSC and now the Shamrock Zone all the suites and clubs available at all three stadiums at this point in time.

Just leave them at the Taco John’s and let’s be done with it
-
They have to offer discounted tickets coming back from a pandemic? That's highly unusual and embarrassing, I bet we'll be the only big 12 school that have to work hard to sell tickets.
-
You can get them at the KC minor league baseball game too. I gotta check w/Nick on the time zones, but I think it's too late to get them at kansas sampler.

#shrug
-
We could stoop down to Squawk level and give them away at the Kwik Shops with purchase. Or as said before just leave stacks of tickets for the taking at Taco John's. :dubious:
-
The defending national champions have tickets available for 4 home games. They’ve sold out the obvious ones. LSU-Ole Miss (the Lane train returns)-Tenn.
There’s also a reason they’re now chasing higher end non con home and homes, instead of the neutral site high end non con games they’ve been doing.
They’re advertising on the LED advertising boards along the Interstates.
In a perfect world the East Side is totally rebuilt and the upper level redesigned. Seating capacity reduced to 47,500 and an intense focus on fan experience across the board. Upper level gets same restroom and concessions access as lower level. Seating capacity “wars” are over. Drive a higher end fan experience across all ticket levels. K-State is close to doing that, one more step.
-
I don’t know how you spend the money needed to knock down the east side, start over & still have enough demand to increase suites/club ticket prices to pay for it. I’d love for there to be something different, but I don’t see the money working for a long time. Maybe I need to do some more research into what ASU did. I’d be all for just chopping off the top 10 rows if possible, but I can’t imagine it is economically feasible.
Those seats in the upper corners are terrible. I’m all for selling those as $99 season tickets for the next 15 years then re-evaluating.
-
Just chop off the whole top deck. How many people are up there anyway?

Denied.
Stademonger’s ruling:
In order to be a big-time modern football stadium, it must have permanent bleachers on all four sides of the field and have at least one side with a decent-sized upper deck accessible to low-to middle income fans. Minimum is 15 rows — anything less is small-timey and embarrassing. Yes, the seating capacity arms race is pretty much over, there’s no argument about that. But there’s a limit to that, and as conference NCAA realignment rears its ugly and inevitable head again, it would be nice to be able to say that our stadium isn’t a laughable <50,000.

No one besides the penile challenged fan is going to give a single eff if the stadium seats 47,500. No one cares about that anymore as more and more schools struggle to fill their overbuilt stadiums.
-
Smdh @ the image shaming in that post
-
I cannot imagine being the least bit concerned about seating capacity in this, the year of our Flying Spaghetti Monster 2021.
-
Body shaming the penile challenged? :nono:
-
Maybe put a nice fall crop up there like they did at the old stadium. Milo would be beautiful.

I know I'm coming back for multiple games but can't decide if I should get season tix or just buy them for each game. I know going forward I'll want to come back more often which is why not sure if I should establish the tix now or just wait.

What's that Ahearn Fund look like? Would you be able to break even on selling your tickets to an EMAW the weeks you aren't gonna be in town?

Well I was looking at the west side and it's a $1300 per ticket donation. Which is fine, but probably wouldn't be able to break even since the tickets are $400 a piece. I have always been in the south endzone for the most part or the student section but I don't want to deal with the sun and junk now, also want a better view then the endzone.
-
We forgot to renew our season tix on time last year (were debating upgrading), and ended up just buying the two 3-game packages instead. Saved a boatload of money and enjoyed our SEZ seats just fine.
Thinking about doing the same this season.
-
I have absolutely zero idea how expensive actual tickets are since we are still getting young alum tickets at a very cheap rate. My requirements are that as long as we are in the shade then that's all I care about. FWIW the Young Alum tickets did go up about $100 thanks to last years success but I am not complaining.

Just work 1 more hour this week and it should cover that extra cost :kstategrad:

That donation level is for like 5% of the available tickets on the west side. The west side donations start at $50 and progressively go up the closer you get to the 50. As far as making money on resales go  that's not a thing. The only team left in the conference that provides resale value is OU. K-State fans generally won't pay much over face value for resale tickets, even on the west side. I wouldn't include that in the equation.

Well, I'll tell you that you probably won't like those seats. That donor level is primarily for the permanent chair backs and the leg room is significantly less than the bench seats. Get a bench seat, with a smaller donor level and add a cat cushion, you'll be much happier.

Yeah, that's probably what I'll end up doing. I just can't decide if it's worth it to get the season or just buy there for the games I'm coming back for.

Ive bought season tickets just to feel cool the last few years. I don’t live anywhere near Manhattan so me and the Mrs. typically just go to one game and sell the rest. Every year we’ve done it (either 3 or 4 now) we’ve made a net profit off the tickets.
Obviously I wouldn’t count on that in any given year, but at this point it’s honestly the only reason I still do season tickets. We’ve never lost money on the deal.
-
Wait a second.
Not counting the East side club. There are 15 publicly available sections on the East Side. 4/15 have 100% mandatory donation seats, 5/15 have 75% mandatory donation seats, 6/15 have 25% mandatory donation seats.
That's way more than 5% of the West side seating. Just sayin . . .

Dax, that 5% was a very rough estimate of how many west side seats are left at that specific $1300 donor level. If what I saw when I did seat selection in May is any indication there might be even less of those seats available, all of section 5 and most of sections 4 and 6, there were just scattered singles. I've tried to move into those sections for years, even a bit higher in 7 and I haven't been able to.

Okay
