you now either have to vote in the primary or i will instruct everyone to disregard your vote.

I will not vote but I am curious what scares moderates about Bernie (other than the idea that he can't beat trump <-what are the reasons he can't)

One thing about Bernie is that he's a billion years old and his policies seem about as far away from "moderate" as it can get. That's two things I guess.

following up on this...which of the non-moderate policies are the biggest dealbreakers? are there any that you would consider to be "not bad"?

He is really old, I’m not sure that has been mentioned.

I'm not a moderate
by definition, all goEMAW posters are fiscally conservative, socially liberal moderates.
-
I voted Pete in the poll, but I’ll choose between which vote is most worthwhile between him and Biden

Also I'd prefer Warren

I don't think I can vote in a presidential primary in WA without doing some stuff that I'm not going to do. Put me down for whatever you want, sys.

beto's really gaining steam itt!

i would love to, but i can't allow you to vote in the poll if you aren't going to vote in the primary.

it's based on a careful analysis of your posting history.
-
I’m a registered pub that’s far too lazy to switch for the primary. I’ll vote for basically anyone they put in front of me that has a D in front of their name. The exception is Biden or Bernie, I’ll pull the lever for trump if that’s the best they can do.
-
Texas is nice cause you can just pick whatever primary you wanna vote in.
-
If Bernie shows us his taxes he'll get my vote.
-
Didn't he just release them dax?

Single payer
I think he's coming at the college expense problem completely wrong -- though so is everyone else on the left now
I still don't know what his support of the green new deal (in whatever form it manifests) is, but I have a gut feeling that I won't like that either

I don't see how Trump is more appealing than Biden or Bernie. I'd be fine with Biden if he wasn't geriatric, but when his opponent is 72 years old and believes the noise from wind turbines causes cancer, the age cancels out.

@sys: do you have a link to some online quiz who would tell me who to vote for?

the polls are now closed. thank you all for voting. this is what democracy looks like. unfortunately we experienced widespread voting fraud and raw totals had to be adjusted to ensure fair results (a california moderate was caught voting twice, a kansas or missouri moderate was discovered to have voted although he was not eligible, a nebraska moderate republican operative attempted to manipulate votes and an illinois? moderate falsely claimed to be undecided).
the results:
1. 35.3% buttigieg
2. 14.7% warren
3. 10.2% beto
sanders
5. 8.8% biden
6. 5.9% abrams
klobuchar
8. 2.9% booker
other (either yang or delaney)
10. 0.0% harris
-
Most shocking result: Warren

eff yeah Beto. Beto would have been at least #2 if he'd been listed in both of the polls.

these voter suppression efforts makes me want to puke

yeah, i didn't expect that. or for harris to get shut out.

I'm not going to caucus for her under any circumstance because of Ilhan but Klo does not support any type of "free college" plan.

Hey 8man, what state do you live in.

Unless he answers Mississippi I don't think it matters, and even then it's a push.

Single payer/M4A is really all I care about (other than some of his shitty immigration statements I'm assuming he's making to gain favor with unions?)
-
I’m generally in favor of a single payer system, but I don’t really GAF what a candidate’s position is on it as long as they have a well reasoned position. The next president is not gonna make single payer happen.
