My expectations are much higher than 7-5.
Snyder went 9-4, 8-5, and 5-7 in his last three years. And we pushed him out of the program he built. I'm assuming we wouldn't do that if our aspirations are 7-5.

I am the definition of a 'Cat sunshine pumper. The 'Cats are the only thing I am ever optimistic about.
With that said, I would take 6-6 and be joyous. This team has some real roster/talent problems, and we have a staff taking a huge step up in competition they will face. There will be a learning curve. Breakin' even would be nothin' but gravy.

I looked right into a mirror with KLI's face pic. taped to it. Know what I saw; besides my rugate mug, was a undeniable look from ole KLI's eyes telling me that he is aiming for 6 wins but may only get 5. :pray:

Troisième. If you watch NDSU V Eastern Wash and NDSU v SDSU you will see that FB and TE are KEY positions. Does KSU have enough of them?
D. This may be the most experienced KSU staff ever. That being said, do they have the mental/physical grit to move the team beyond where HOFCBS was able to go the few years?
Z. Since none of the coaches in the Big 12 have Klieman's level of coaching success, can their athletes overcome the level of coaching they are going to face against KSU?

CoachKli has no doubt reached out to Jim Tressel to consult with him on the lessons he learned from his 7-5 season at Ohio State. Without Tressel's lessons, I'd say CoachKli's floor is probably 7-5, at least as good as Tressel. Tressel was 14-0 in his second season at Ohio State. So, I'll let you do the math on CoachKli's floor and ceiling given the wisdom of Tressel's lessons.

Agreed. Sklyar is our only known playmaker on offense and our season will be determined on how well he performs.
I'm just glad his chances of getting sketti brained went down by 50% when snyder retired.
