The way that they integrate everything into it is awesome. Not only the pompoms but the long sleeved uniforms, the video board graphics, especially the social media, it's all amazingly well done.

The idea to add the "EMAW" on the middle of the frontside of the short's waistband also came from flipping through an old photo deck of K-State home games in Ahearn Field House.
"We have this photo in the deck of a game from the late '70s when Rolando was there and there was this great 'Every Man a Wildcat' banner up in Ahearn. I couldn't believe it went back that far," Wright said. "We recreated that banner for the read on the (shorts)…just trying to bring those story details into the retros to add some more layers to it."

if i'm being honest the aesthetic is probably 99% of the experience for me. Maybe i'm old fashioned but my eye tends to work bottom to top (probably b/c they bounce the ball near the floor? lol idk) I start with the shoes, then to the socks up to the shorts and ultimately the jersey.
I refer to this visual adventure as "taking a cruise on the Jersey Nile" and folks nothing, and i mean NOTHING, chops the water like a wasteband logo.
when that happens there's not much else you can do but pop a dramamine patch behind your ear and hope for the best.
