The gift that keeps on giving that glorified juco is. When was the last time a first place team rushed the court after beating the third place team? Never? And KSUCK players literally acting like they just won the title was pretty great too.
A 2 game lead with 8 to go now and KSUCK will still find a way to lose the conference to us again. But hey, at least they will have a new DVD coming out....and maybe a banner?

We have them crap a couple years ago for the same thing. Maybe this was a little different because KU kept fouling even when the game was well out of reach. But no one is gonna care 2 weeks from now.

Lotta pissed off youngsters headed off to class at JCCC-OP and JCCC-L this morning, but mainly it's the JCCC-L T-Shirt Fan nation on their way to their cubicles and customer service call center monitors that you guys are going to have to watch out for . . . best to duck into your executive offices or stick to the special ID executive floor/wing of the various businesses you run/own/manage and/or tip your 3 KU degree holding barista a little extra today.

Last night was bigger than the NCAA tournament for K-State. It was the superbowl, mardi gras, losing of virginity all rolled into one.
Kansas State is garbage. Garbage school. Garbage overweight hayseed fans. Middle of BF nowhere redneck sh*thole. Mediocre basketball team. Once in a while we’ll have a bad performance and they win their Super Bowl.
We're the only elite school in the Big XII. Having equivalent talent to an unranked garbage Kstate team, even with injuries, is not acceptable.
Don't look now but this years KU football has a better road winning percentage than KU basketball!!!

I'm not trying to defend them, but I guess I am, Those guys call a crap ton of games and are neutral announcers. Which means, they don't cover a team on the reg and have to get to know two new rosters. Yeah, get their early and go through the pronunciation key with local staffers, but sometimes it's still hard to stick the hard names in your head.

I enjoyed Chauncey's story of meeting cartier's dad in Brooklyn or whatever and it was completely obvious that Chauncey had no memory of it but was just repeating what the dad told him before the game.

Back in the early 00’s I worked at Bramlage and for one of the nationally televised football games they had me be a gopher at the pre-game production meeting. The on air guys spent probably a solid half hour going over, rehearsing, and making notes on correct pronunciation of names.
Moral of the story is if they care about pronouncing player names right they will. Maybe a slip up here and there but not spend the entire game mispronouncing it.
