We shouldn't have been anything but pillowy soft on Syria.
It was none of our business . . . unless you prefer the Balkanization/Libya effect? Which would in essence have placed radical Islamic forces on the frontier of the last remaining Democracy/Secular government in the Middle East. Now they at least have a nation states to deal who can be held accountable for their actions in the various halls of world opinion etc. etc.
