11:40 - we've reached the under 12 timeout. k-state still hasn't scored any actual baskets yet, but in between turnovers they have hit the rim a couple of times.
not the top of the rim though really. mostly the side of it. :frown:
will reevaluate at the under 8 timeout whether to call out baskets or near baskets.

10:53 - Mawien almost made a mid-range jumper in the paint. it looked good halfway there but sailed just a bit long, off the back iron.

4:02 - after a loose ball out of bounds off tech, the refs change the call to a foul, and diarra calmly makes two FTs. he remains the leading scorer and has 6 of k-state's 14 points.
for the game, k-state now has more FTs (6) than field goals made (4), though in fairness they've only had 19 attempts.
