All the comparisons to Brown aside (and I acknowledge those are huge and should be at least 50% of how CK is judged) we need to track our new coach versus what Prince did.
The records should closely compared and if CK does not win more (and the same caliber) games, he has to be fired or our university will be branded as super gross and racist.
We will track the performance in this thread.

9-15 in three years in conference for prince k= 10-17 for Klieman. If he can win 13 of his first 27 I say we keep him. Also needs 2 of 3 years to be bowl game seasons. Also must go 2 of 3 against ISU, this is non negotiable.
-
What is the Prince standard for wins versus ranked teams?
-
Unofficially 2-12 with those two wins coming against UT.
-
I can’t believe we tore down goal posts for one of those wins. Super gross.

what's the highest division prince could lead a team to a title? i'm not sure he could lead MHS to a state title. so ck has that going for him.

This blog won’t be around in another 3 years so I’m not sure if we’ll be able to get a clear comparison.

At least the archaeologists will have something to puzzle over when they unearth this blog.

It was easy to fire Prince when we had Patterson in our back pocket.

Sure was, great memories...almost kicked out the game due to roudiness, 2nd row in iCat, saved a girl's life in the rush, tried to teardown the posts. Ah, and almost missed it all with someone offering me $70 for my tix at our tailgate.

But yet we ran off a hall of game coaching legend after he went 14-13 in his last three years. I would hope the standard would be higher than 13-14 for Klieman. Otherwise, it wasn’t worth it.

I have no doubt Klieman will recruit at a much higher level than we have seen in the last few years. Totally worth it.

So our expectations should be lower for somebody who signs more stars during recruiting?
Weird.

Depends on trajectory of the team. If we get worse every year leash will be shorter.

Steffy's right, if the cupboard is actually dude gets two classes.

Not necessarily about stars, but size and speed. To me, we looked really small and slow on the field the last couple of years, and the Miss State game really accentuated that. I realize we have always been a coach 'em up kind of team, but the physical gap has become become too wide to make up with x's and o's.

I think this is getting lost in translation for me. What do you mean?

Couldn't agree more. That MSU game was truly eye-opening. I don't know how we went from being competitive in every game in 2017 (sans TCU) to being total trash in one year.

Really couldn't tell you. Klieman shouldn't get anymore leeway than any other coach, he should be winning 8 games by year 3.
-
I think Prince would have gotten more time if he wasn't such a mean and awful person.
-
It was the banner and we all know it.
-
Shhhh.... No one tell 'stone how to really spell our coaches name.
