Didn't hear what Petro said about Sean but I'm sure it was half-cocked and moronic. I wanted Klieman to hire Sean, we absolutely won't find a better special teams coach. I didn't know until today that they were using Braet as an assistant special teams coach, I'd be interested in knowing just how exposed he was to the special teams coaching and processes.

He wasn't ripping anything off, he didn't ask 33 to make a shirt. He was using cliches when talking to his football team. You can't want more access then be bitter when that allows you to hear a football coach sound like a football coach.
I don't really care about access as long as we're winning. If we suck then yes, blast us with this crap 24/7 so we have something to make fun of/talk about.
When LHC LHC Bill Snyder's teams sucked it was the absolute worst because all we ever saw was the crap product on the field.
And people are acting like "Win the dang day" is like his schtick, maybe it isn't but if it is, it's lame and a rip off.
Point was that I don't think he intended it to be "his thing," it's just that our rubes ate it up. Think about this, he said that his assistant coach or whatever said that at NDSU and even those corny ass southern Manitobans didn't think it was noteworthy enough to mention. Guy is here for 24 hours and our fans are acting like adding the word dang to a common phrase is the second coming of Churchill.
That makes sense. I really didn't watch any of the videos the whole way through so I thought I must have missed an announcement of a new brand or something.

This is a lot like when Ron Prince wanted to institute the "We are K-State" thing, like eleventy billion other schools do (Penn State was who he had in mind at the time, tho).
