don't forget eastern illinois, where he went 7-5 and 12-2.
dino is not some flash-in-the-pan. he spent 25 years coaching in 11 different states at 12 different schools before he got his first head coaching opportunity. he has been a GA, a running backs coach, a quarterbacks coach, a wide receivers coach, a defensive backs coach, a special teams coach, an offensive coordinator, an assistant head coach, and a head coach - now at three different schools, with success at all three. he has a good system, is a solid recruiter, and players like him and relate to him.
he also beat the crap out of dabo last year on national TV.

that was the nicest response to a job speculation question i have ever seen.
but reading between the lines, i kinda got the vibe that he thinks syracuse is a stuffy old industrial town and he is upset that his fanbase only filled the air-conditioning lacking carrier dome to 42k (capacity 50k) for the clemson game last year, and just 37k for FSU this year. :dunno:
