I’m all for the occasional outlandish alternate. What I really want is a simple addition of additional colors for the pants/ helmets while keeping the same style. Basically like Florida has been doing for the last 30 years.
Helmets: silver, white
Tops: Purple, White
Pants: Silver, Purple, White
Socks: Purple, White
Shoes: Purple, Black, White, Silver
I really liked Cleveland’s color rush uniforms this season and think a similar Purple on silver would look great for KState.
Someone photoshop a cool looking player like Arthur Brown to show everyone what they’d all look like.

I would like all whites (including helmet). My favorite Martin-era bball jerseys were the all white jerseys. Throw a old Willie logo on the helmet as well.

You have to be careful when you split KANSAS and STATE above and below the numbers. On TV close ups you only see KANSAS and we do not want that comparison.
Used to happen during Wooly-era hoops and it drove me crazy.
Also, I know I am in the minority here, but love the lavender.

Lower thirties here. Big fan of the classic unis and powercat. Would love to see some alternates, although 12 in a season is way too excessive IMHO. I think Texas does it the right way.

yea i got lazy but i would make it chrome for home, black chrome for away, with _33's helmet design. or purple chrome as an alternate. or the same colors but matte but chrome logo. typing that all out is getting me hard.

The Stripes are great imo and will never go out of style. I do like the subtle change in # font on the template I used in my janky paintbrush rendos. Think it's the bball font.

Can someone show me a single oversized logo'd helmet that even looks kind of good? Not just these K-State mock ups, but of every team and every one ever made.
To me, the helmet w/ normal sized powercat is great. And the jerseys are fine for most games. The changes need to be in the color options with helmets, pants/socks/shoes, not so much the designs (but maybe for one home game like all black leather for Harley Day).

Yup, mix and match the color options of the traditional uniforms for 10 games.
Then have a special home/away uni set for one big home game and one big road game. Maybe do a different throwback for one game each year too.
Similar to what OU has done over the last several years (but with more color options on the tradition sets).

I want us to have new uniforms we break out for big games.
I don't like making the opponent feel important. Do them for things that are special games internally regardless of opponent - first game of the year, first conference game, thursday night game, etc. Works especially well if the uniforms are throwback-ish and worn to commemorate something that happened from the time they're throwing back to.

I think the only thing we need to change is adding a white helmet (exact same helmet with grey facemask, just white) and white pants (exact same pants, just white). Mix up an all white uni and the white/purple/white with the same jerseys here and there.

What I’m most excited about is the number of mix and match combinations that are now and are likely to become possible.
For 30 years we’ve had just two combos!
Just by having white lids and pants as an option we now have 8 combos
Silver/purple/silver

Just adding purple pants would give us another 4 combos totaling 12!!

For the most part, by keeping the design the same, most all of the combos will/would still be easily recognizable as KSU football by most any fan. I do question the effect purple hats would have on that tho, and how a color flip purple hat would look.
And some combos would grow more popular than others as time goes on.

Purple pants might be OK if done correctly. Prince matched them with hideous jerseys.
