Title: cheerleaders/classy cats - part of the problem or part of the solution?
Post by: pissclams on September 23, 2018, 12:32:32 PM
at this point in a very disappointing season i think we need to evaluate everything, from top to bottom.  we as fans have a role to play in our success just like the football player cats do.  i don't feel like we can be as good as we can be without the proper urging from the sidelines.  and that gets me to my point, have the cheerleaders and classy cats this season seemed "off" to anyone else? are they helping us win or helping us lose... their overall enthusiasm just doesn't seem to be what it was during DoD1.  maybe their kicks are not as high as they once were, they don't have as much spring on their jumps (up or down).

even willie's push up speed has slowed to a near crawl.

if these guys don't get their heads in the game, how can we expect the team to?  i foresee some big changes coming very soon to the spirit squad, and if there isn't, is AD Gene Taylor just asleep at the wheel not to notice these things?  and should his negligence cost him his job/career?

I think the problem is that the classy cats only get a 45 second endzone dance per game. Can't expect to win with that kind of effort.

when i was in undergrad in the early 2000's the classy cats and cheerleaders were much better and i think the results speak for themselves jmho

There was an ex-cheerleader at the SF watch party I went to with Rusty describing some salacious things from her experience before the hammer got brought down.  Sounds like the squad has gotten #family'd like the rest of the sports programs.

I banged a bunch of these chicks.

That's interesting, because I interviewed a cadre of cheerleaders/classy cats (who shall remain anonymous) during your years in Manhattan, and to a woman none of them remember you, much less can corroborate your claim. Seems we have a good old fashioned Reverse Kavanaugh on our hands...

not everyone comes to manhattan just looking for a good time rah rah bullshit.  i personally know a few members of both squads who are upset with the way they're being managed and are just scared to speak out for fear of retaliation.  we're talking a-list football cheerleaders who are not going to accept being relegated to cheering a volleyball match (and shouldn't have to deal with that bullshit) just for speaking their mind.

i'll put you down as a cheer squad apologist who, like many here, underplay the importance of these individuals to the overall success of our program

This deflection away from the coaching staff and AD is obvious and sad.  Our Classy Cats put a hell of a lot more time and effort into these games than the fans know.

I just hope no one who's thinking about coming to Classy Cat at KSU reads this thread. I know my gf yeah read this thread and is disgusted.

chingon, what list of classy cat is your gf?  i think they basically have the a-list and b-list.
anyway, i can see why she would get upset after reading my posts in this thread and the posts of many others, including wacky where he brags about having sex with a bunch of them, which obviously isn't true because anyone who has met wacky or read any of his posts knows he probably hasn't even had sex with a gorilla, let alone a human being.  so i'm sorry to her.  my posts are really directed at absent leadership at the very top of the classy cat/cheerleader ladders.  please tell her that.

Still marching in shorts and t-shirts if it's the least bit hot.
