Remembering the fans who thought old balls was coming back because this team was going to compete for a National Championship :'bye cruel world:
-
Did people think that?
-
No one who watched last season could possibly think that.

Those two should report on stuff they understand.
-
That time we scored a TD?
-
The retirement announcement...
-
The five minutes before the first game when I thought, "Hey, the offense has a chance to be pretty good this year. Maybe we can win 9 games and go to a decent bowl game."
-
When the South Dakota kicker doinked one off the crossbar.
-
probs snyder being an arrogant bastard stating he can't coach a team that can't get six inches
-
LHC Bill Snyder much like any self respecting woman never settles for anything less than 6 inches.
-
I can't recall any memory of the last 4 years.
-
However we lol beat isu this year.

Pit worthy. I just can't help myself; buy yea, "NO KATDADDY".
-
Probably this weekend when we beat Texas and my 6 year old gets to witness his first ksugocats game. Other than that I got nothing
-
When Snyder announced his retirement the week of the tech game and then we got down 3 scores to tech but rallied to get a meaningless 4th win and the players carried Snyder off into the sunset
-
I'll always remember being tied with Mississippi State after one quarter.
-
i'm looking forward to the drama after we go 3-9
-
getting out the warchest and having gene taylor announce jim harbaugh as our new head coach since his wife is from overland park

I'll always remember being tied with Mississippi State after one quarter.
That already feels like it was 6 months ago.

Fans who thought Skyler Thompson could be an NFL QB
-
my top 3 fave memories
#3 going out to the parking lot at half of Miss State game and getting 'faced the rest of the game
#2 going out to the parking lot after the 1st quarter of the South Dakota game and getting 'faced the rest of the game
#1 not going to the UTSA game, really freeing up a Saturday for me (to get 'faced)

Missing the UT game for niece's wedding. Bride and groom are both KU grads. Flashing the WC gang sign in the group photo.

So there were two fave memories from the Kats U./Tejax game last week. The first was when we punted in the second quarter to try to pin them back by the goal line. It was a beauty...bounced within the five yard line and should easily have been downed right near the goal line. Instead of going after it, though, we had 4 or 5 guys covering the guy nearby who was covering the punt, and they all just watched helplessly as the ball rolled into the end zone for a touchback.
Other fave moment from that game was at halftime. We had just had an absolutely pitiful first half, we were down 19-0, and we dropped a pass in the end zone as time expired. At halftime they recognized new inductees to the KSU Athletics Hall of Fame. The final inductee was Terence Newman, who couldn't be there in person so he sent in a video that they played over the jumbotron. At the end of his video, he signed off by saying something like, "Now, the only thing I ask is that we go out there and beat Texas." That notion was so unfathomable to everyone in the stadium that I actually hear audible laughter at the idea.

I'll never forget chatting with Reggie Walker about acid reflux and getting old. Highlight of the year.
-
When the Snyder clan turned on the media which, up until the past 10 days, had been the nicest people in the world to BS and his staff.
-
Beating KU. Maybe.
-
how great our turf looks
-
Burning a timeout on 4th and 5 against OSU only to comeback and attempt a 50+yard FG with our back-up kicker (punter) which falls well short.

Unfollowing the majority of the news coverage from Manhattan on Twitter when you move out of state for a few years and realize how small-timey it all is.

So true. Moved up to Detroit area in Michigan for two years and saw what college football really was. I drank the Wolverine Kool-aid and now am a secret Michigan fan. I've moved back to Kansas for a job and now see how small-timey KSU/Manhattan is and how small-timey the Big 12 is. It's disheartening.

no one cares bshea, roll to purple or get the eff out

just know that your coach (Har-blah) will leave for Kansas whenever that job comes open (wife from Olathe).
also know that little k-state laid the smack down on the gridiron (hard!) the last time we played mu.

There is definitely a difference at the big football schools, but K-State has several facilities that are on par with or equal to most big football schools.
Largest difference is the media coverage, there's no comparison.
-
well there is not a Riley Gates tree we can just pluck more media members from
