Good weekend for B12 games...
-
Go Frogs!
-
KU!!!
They look legitimately ok this year. Beatty should be in the conversation for COY if that award means anything.
-
Yes, thank god we get them at home. Respect the hawks improvement.

Troy is up on Nebraska 10-0 after returning a punt for a TD :fatty:
Troy's helmets are awesome BTW.
-
17-0 now. Nebraska melted down on that drive with personal fouls on back to back plays.
-
frost warning
-
Troy is still ahead but it's 17-13 now. Getting frostier!! Also I learned that former KSU coaching legend Vic Koenning is Troy's DC.
-
Troy looks like they would beat us up
-
so from a nortard perspective, i’d say in level of retardation
nebraska most retardation
ksu very Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)

Temple kicking the crap out of Maryland can't be good for UT.
-
Guys we're not very good
-
Pretty mediocre
-
What if UTSA is really good?
-
Just kidding, they're not good.
-
We needed to run that defense play where we cover the receivers.
-
Our defense does not how to blitz. Overpursue and give up 3rd and long. #

Unfortunately this has been an accurate description of our D for many years. We just cannot do it right.
-
Illinois is looking good so far

I assume this is a Bill thing because it's across multiple coordinators.
-
We are just not that good, which is really depressing.
-
Bill Warning
-
Tight end pass though.
-
I like that we're throwing deep a lot.
-
NOAA has just issued a Bill Warning.
-
we're looking pretty dominant again. i hope you dudes can handle that.
-
There a category 4 Gus roaring across Alabama tonight.
-
ILL
-
we are simply a better football team than utsa. people don't want to hear it, but believe your eyes, sheeple.

Everyone should be watching the Tech-Houston game. It's fixin' to be a good old fashioned rootin' tootin' wild west shootout.
-
Rough calls against Auburn at the end there.
-
TCU game is going to be brutal in November.
-
OSU vs TCU is a very good game to watch. Dwayne Haskins isn’t getting me the points I thought he would as the #1 overall pick in my college fantasy football league tho :curse: could have had Drew Lock from mizzou
-
You ever notice how small and beady Scott Frost's eyes are?
-
Omg TCU running the Ku kickoff play
-
LOL at TCU
-
LOL at TCU
-
So Texas..... :Wha:

So Texas..... :Wha:
Da Horns
-
Was really hoping the Horned Frogs would get the win.
First 0-2 start for Nub since 1957. :cobhead:
-
Alabama is too damn good. Like its ridiculous how good they are.

Haven’t read much about that play, but that type of stuff really needs to be removed from the game. There needs to be a rule about giving yourself up even without calling for a fair catch, kneeling, etc (if there isn’t already, I thought there was).
I remember several years ago when TTU tried a fake kneel down play and the refs blew it dead. I think this should fall in the same category. You don’t want punt coverage to full speed run a dude over because they didn’t hear a whistle when the dude is just standing there.
-
Forward progress was stopped :dunno:
-
I don't have a problem with teams doing it, but I think the officials need to be fair about repercussions. If I was officiating a future North Texas game, I wouldn't penalize anything but the most egregious unnecessary roughness on punt returns. If a team uses protection rules to fool the defense, they should lose the benefit of the doubt on those calls.
-
I would agree, but my broader point is that is a messed up situation to be in. If you are serious about protecting players, you cannot put yourself in a situation where you basically encourage a guy to get demolished because he was trying to be sneaky.
