i was going to post this in the talking sports thread. who the eff can sustain an obsession with collegiate sports when you don't play the state schools to your east, north or west?

Post by: chum1 on September 08, 2018, 09:54:59 PM: I mean, necessarily, lots of teams will on the outer edge of their conference rather than in the middle. But it does REALLY suck for us to go from having every bordering state in every direction to having just one.

It also sucks that we have fewer traditional P5 teams than the other P5. I'd be WAY happier if we also had the Arizona schools, for example.
