1. We need to play Eli Walker every series. Adams is slow and doesn't tackle. Goolsby isn't much better.
2. Our left DE's are non-existent in two games.
3. We need to live and die with Thompson at QB. Create an identity on offense.
4. Sizelove is slow. When Sullivan is healthy needs to play every down.
5. Our OL takes a step back at the G and C positions on passing downs. Giving up the pocket. Engage the defensive.
6. Bowl streak is in danger.
7. MSU is a very good team, SD is not.
8. Rueter and Gruntley do not get open. Harris doesn't have any hands.
Hopefully I am back with many positives after a monumental comeback!

Sad thing is is that this Miss State team isn't really that great. They'll get smoked by the real teams in the SEC like Vandy did last year.

I think this team is better than last years vandy but it’s probabaly not a huge delta.

I think if Fitzgerald improves his accuracy, he missed a couple of long throws to open receivers, they have the line and athletes to play with everyone in the SEC. They just cannot afford turnovers in the big games. Their OL and DL are very good and they have depth on their DL. Their #2's would start at KSU. Hill is a "stud" runner. He runs very hard and brings it.

Our 5'5" 145 pound kicker made as many tackles as Trey Dishon and Drew Wiley. 1 more than Joe Davies and Jordan Mittie. MSU ran over 65 plays and our DT's made 2 tackles.
Walker and Hubert have been noticeable at DE. Ball and Massie have been invisible in both games.
Our DL needs to step up and make some plays. They have the ability.

No they don't. Both games this year it seems like we have had dozens of oppys to bring down the QB in the backfield. In the South Dakota game, we had one sack. In the Mississippi State game, we had zero sacks.
Our DL is just a step too slow every time, and when we actually get close, we're arm tackling and whiffing.

Completely dominated in the trenches.
The passing scheme seems unnecessarily complicated.
Barnes and the corners played well. Everyone else, bad.

Maybe Kentucky is better than you think. I've seen two games in person. They got big boys and talent.
Oh hey, there's Michael Smith coaching receivers. He's got a tight end that can catch well. Sure wish KSU did.
