Title: Is Mississippi underrated
Post by: Pete on August 03, 2018, 03:24:34 PM
CBS guy thinks so....

Quote
3. No. 18 Mississippi State: I understand all the reasons to doubt Mississippi State in 2018. Dan Mullen is gone, and Mullen is the person who built this program into what it's become today. So without Mullen, it's natural to expect a drop-off.
But Dan Mullen left plenty of groceries in the cupboard for Joe Moorhead, who has been a head coach before and did an excellent job taking Penn State to a higher level once he took over its offense. The Bulldogs have 17 starters (nine on offense, eight on defense) back from a team that went 9-4 last season. It also has a schedule that's somewhat reasonable (as reasonable as any SEC West schedule can be).

I’m sure they’re fine. Didn’t realize their coach left them. That sucks. I have never experienced that but I’m sure it feels like getting your entire balls and nutsack and crank and face ripped off and fed to a better more attractive man.

That's the reality of being a lower tier team in a midrange conference, if your coach has the smallest amount of success they are going to bolt for the first offer that comes along.

Glad we can keep a hall of fame coach for over a quarter of a century. Really shows how big the divide is between the haves and the have-nots  :frown:

their old coach's name was "mullen". so I was just thinking about that. Like, are they mullen over their entire balls and sacks being eaten by some animal or some crap? mullen like mulling. sounds the same I assume, never heard it pronounced out loud so not sure. these guys maybe suck huge?

Imagine for a second you're a P5 school (Miss St is in the SEC, so they technically are) and your coach just leaves because there is a better job. Are you now not a P5 school? I'm mullen over this taint and ballsack kick in the face right now. these guys are maybe losers?

I read that the Sparksville city council initially denied a permit for a gay pride parade because they know that basically their everyone in the city is a giant homophobic piece of crap

We'll find out soon enough.

Please don't call us Mississippi. Same as calling you Kansas.  :billdance:

On the surface their coach left for a far better job in better town with better fans.  I think there was too much cheating for him and it made his decision easy

"Mmm-Bop" was evidently already taken.

I think we should seriously consider helping our new Mudcat friends to secure the 'Mmm-Bop U' name to escape the oppressive forces of the Mighty Mississip.

EDIT: Or maybe 'Mmm-Bop State'
