Post by: Spracne on July 18, 2018, 04:39:51 PM: I've read some stories floating around the past few days about the ethics of genetic modification. Here's a quick primer, but more in-depth articles from the past few days can be easily found:

On the one hand, it's hard to argue that avoiding congenital defects and horrible diseases is anything but a good thing. On the other hand, I could see how this could lead to increased inequality, depending on scale.

Levi came almost 2 weeks early via emergency c-section but is absolutely perfect. Born Monday night at 6lb, 15oz. Mother is recovering nicely and all is good in the hood. Both came home Thursday afternoon.

Thanks and that sounds like a great tribute. I picked up some diapers and Prime brisket this morning and he will be getting baptized in the way and the truth tomorrow!
