I'm usually on the optimistic end.
I think KU will have already fired Beatty going into the K-State game. I don't think he will have shown any improvement and KU will not want it to look like a K-State loss was why he was fired.
Also, we will beat Iowa St by 3 points or less.

I'll go optimistic and say 10-2, actually having coaches who (hopefully) are able to make adjustments helps swing games we barely lost last year (thinking of WVU, Vandy games in particular) while the bonus of having more experienced Skylar/Delton. The Miss St. game will really set my expectation from like an 8-4 season to the 10-2 season. I will say though I feel like OU is potentially a game we could steal though, we barely lost last year, and that was with freakin Mayfield as QB, I just don't see OU taking any steps forward, and we weirdly are better at playing @OU in recent history. TCU game will be our KITN if we beat OU. I am not buying the WVU hype. And yeah, ISU will find a new fun way to lose the game to us. I'm excited to see how it will happen this time. I'm guessing they will be going for a game winning FG in a tie game and we'll block it and return for a TD. There will be an added bonus of where it'll look like either we were slightly offside or slightly bumped the kicker or w/e that their fans will get all pissy about on our way to ripping their hearts out again.

I'll say 8-4, but I have no idea what to expect from Mississippi State. I like that it's at home, but would like it in week 3 a lot more than in week 2. Also won't be surprised if our luck finally runs out against Tornado Bird, especially in Ames.

Yeah, same boat here, both because it's the last game of the season and because it's Flood Aggie. It would be 2011 OSU-esque level bad and if I wasn't a fan of a big 12 team not named k-state/ISU I would hate them always and forever for not rolling over in that game.
TBH, my only real hate of ISU stems from them ruining Okie State's chances in 2011. Most of the time I just find them annoying.

My prediction has been perfect thus far, but I am revising it to 3 wins total for the year. I no longer think we will beat Baylor, and I think Oklahoma State will prison rape us. I think we find a way to eek out a win against KU at home, and lose a heart breaker the next game on an emotional hangover against Tech.
