When was it first used in regards to basketball
Who are the blue bloods, does membership change
The only team I ever hear talking about it is Kansas, I never hear Duke, UNC , Kentucky players or coaches discuss it for example Derlante Graham on the cbs pregame and in the March madness pregames
Keeps talking about today’s game being a matchup of blue bloods? Is Duke trying to keep it a secret or something?

Blue bloods is mostly a term for old people. But when I think blueblood in bball I think anyone who has made the tournament at least 15 out of the last 20 years and averages better than a 4 seed over that span. It changes for sure, cause I don't think of UCLA as a blueblood now even though they're still #1 in championships.
